Check it out if you want, I think it's a great site to use!!! www.ourlifebeginson8910.wedsite.com What a pretty web-site. You have done so much already. I need to get it together here!

I think it was a couple from the wedding party who started it out and then they picked a name of another couple from the basket to keep the chain going. If your name was picked you didn't have to go up right away so everyone had a little time to plot their way of acting out the kiss. It was a lot of fun and even the parents, aunts and uncles etc got involved! i love love this idea!! Gotta see how many couples i have coming to see if this is even an option for me.
  3. Why do most people decide to get married BEFORE they leave as opposed to right AFTER they get back? I am seriously considering an AHW, but now I am torned between doing it before or after. Are there benefits to one way or the other?
  4. Evite is another option for a casual gathering!
  5. YOU GO GIRL!! Very nice, pictures look great!
  6. Zuzelh This is such great information. Thanks again for passing along. I really wanted to make sure I could 1) Reserve the Blue Lagoon and 2) Have a reception for longer than 2 hours stated. Both those answers appears to be YES, which is great news. Can you tell me what type of documentation you had to send in advance and then bring with you to show you had already been married? If I do the AHW, I would want to do it right before we left for Jamaica so I am concerned about not having the paperwork I need by then. Lastly, was there any mention in the ceremony about this being a vow renewal? I would plan to keep this from my guests so concerned if the ceremony is different?

I definitely recommend getting married by your town before coming to Jamaica, and then getting the renewal of vows package, as it is considerably cheaper! You don’t even have to tell your guests that you are technically already married! Plus, I saw in the forum that some people who get married at GP don’t get their marriage certificates until a few months later. I would love to learn more about the Silver Love package you selected. Were you able to get a full 4 hour reception and everything else in the traditional bridal package? I read in the book the maximum dinner time for the Silver Love Package was only 2 hours. Can you explain more how the silver package worked for you?
  8. I'm very BLESSED! My family and friends ALL LOVE THE IDEA of a DW!! I think some have packed their bags already.
  9. Thanks Julia for all your help! I just scanned mine and emailed it back to Lori and Nina. You were right Lori answered my email yesterday. Maybe she is dedicating one day a week to responding to all emails now. So what day are you getting married?
  10. Like'em but I haven't eaten a donut in a couple of years. Trying to stay focused. Microsoft?
  11. Thanks for the warm welcome to us Jamaican brides! So have you stayed or heard much about the Grand Palladium Jamaica (in Lucea)? I keep hearing mixed reviews about the resort.
  12. Great thanks for the reply. Once you filled out the form how did you get it back to the WC? Did you mail it, email or fax it? I have been trying for almost 6 weeks now just to set up my date. The total lack of response here is starting to not sit well with me at all.
  13. Last week I received an email from Lori saying the day I wanted was still available. I have been trying to secure this date by signing a contract or at least putting down a deposit but I can not reach Lori or Nina again (I've tried phone and email). How were you girls able to secure your wedding date? What specifically did you do?
  14. Step 1: I am an addict! Humm, what is Step 2?
