Can we all eat at the ala carte. On the package info it states ala cartes can only be used for partys under 20 or something like that...I don't have the info here at work. What has been your experience?

The groomsmen are getting Reef sandals with bottle openers on the bottom. For the wedding reception back home I got 99 mini frames with shells/beach themed and will be taking candid photos of all of our guests who show up and then putting them into the frames so they can take them with them after the reception. Im thinking about getting pashminas, asprins (recreating the labels to customize for the wedding) and aloe vera for putting into the beach bags. I may be going overboard with all of it but I am having a lot of fun with the OTB! Where did you find GLOW IN THE DARK MUGS?? That is such an awesome idea. Hope you can remember:) Also, how about the reef sandals with the bottle opener...I remember seeing them at our beach here at home earlier last year. Did you find them at a store or online?

They questioned the advil, sunscreen, etc. Mainly the pharmacy stuff! I bought almost all my bag stuffers from Wally world (Walmart), Target, and the dollar store ... Thank goodness! If your products total more than 300 (which they will check with your receipts) you will be required to pay a tax for them. Not sure what that will be, but was something I wanted to avoid so was sure to keep my totals under 300 (well the totals of the receipts I had)! Just be prepared to have them check your stuff, and have your recipets handy with your travel documents! LOL...I love it...7 bags!! I keep telling my FI to be prepared...he thinks I am crazy and we are not bringing 5 bags. I would love to know how he plans on getting all this stuff down there!! His parents are traveling with us on the way down so at least there will be 4 of us to help out.

But if you want to be more pro-active than I was with them, email her and ask how far in advance can you book them.. they might not take reservations until like a couple of days before... I dont know. But Gabriela did all the reservations for me since we did have such a large group! It is up to you and how you want dinners to go.... I wanted everyone together, but I do know how your group and if everyone is going to want to all eat together. Thats your call I see no reason why anyone would give you an issue with handing out gifts in the restaurant... I would do it. As far as the restauranrts go... I mean the French is my favorite... but never actually ate dinner in there... we avoided it and did allow any of my guests to eat in there... since we knew that was where we were having the reception ... I did want anyone to see it before the big reveal I did not like at all the Brazilian Restaurant (Ridizo)... I am not a huge meat eatter and to be honest.... I hated it... I hate to be blunt... but it was not my cup of tea. The Carribbean restaurant was good... and then that leaves the French and the Japanese.... but the Japanese (which I heard was good) was totally out of the questuon for me... since it is an air conditioned and I didnt want to sweat while eatting! (it is the coral grill.... they turn it into the Japanese restaurant after hours). Thank you for all your thoughts and suggestions. I do not eat any meat at all, however I do eat fish. My crew is all meat eaters so I can always deal and just get salad or whatever. Is the Japanese is that inside/outside cabana? I think that is what we were looking at for our wedding reception. Really wish we could get into that French resturant like you did, that place looks amazing. Do you think the weather would be more mild in January for our guests if it were in that outside/inside cabana?

I think combining them (scrolls and beachy) is a great idea. A fancy starfish whole look really nice or the sand dollar. -
Thanks ladies!!! my wedding is 4 months away. I can hardly believe it! The other dress I had chose was very plain...no beading and was satin. BIG...change...but the mom's and sister like it and I know my FI will love it! I am very hard on myself so the fitted look kept pushing me away from this dress...but in the end it won out the rest

We are not even going to give my MOH and BM only but a few days heads up...just so we know they won't tell anyone:) How far in advance should we consider going to City Hall??

I was at Micheals Craft store last night and they have a TON of beads and charms...you could easily make a set for your girls. Here is a link http://www.mommysavesbig.com/printab...ichaels-22.pdf to good 50% coupons. -
Well this whole story really stinks! I really hope you get your flowers on time...I am sure you are beyond stressing over this...I would be for sure. I really really hope it all works out for you. Honestly...you have been very calm...I would have been blowing up the phone lines and email. But really that never does me any good in situations like this..so you have probably handled it better then I. Best of Luck!
