I am checking into the only 2 photographers available( with out a $500 penality). both photographers in my semi -professional opinion is they both use point shoot cameras and are amature, not so proffessional. Caribu or somthing like that seems to be the better of the 2, but i still am not SOLD on them. Its terrible that those are my only choices. I just dont get it.

Crista, welcome to the unconsistency of lomas travel and what you want "not being allowed anymore" i just asked about that 3 weeks ago and was told the same thing. Kinda unfair since it was available when I booked my wedding. I hear the smores thingy on the beach is once a week and free, that might be a good idea, jus grab a bucket of ice and a few beers from your room!!!!

CV Imports is the website I found for the sashes. I think when someone walks through the front door you have to check in or show room key? They charge $100 day pass, which is alot in my opinion to pay on TOP of what make-up artist will charge? Nicole, i cant waitttt to read your review. Im having such a hard time right now. Honestly, switching resorts has been going through my mind over and over again. I know there have been alot of sucessful weddings there and Im so happy for those brides AND I prob will be another successful wedding there, although im not sure I'd reccommend the resort after my planning expirence with them.... over 2months to go of planning and seriously stressing.... I feel like I cant get anything I want from them. Just heard back from Tiffany and there is no "mexican" make-up artist allowed at resort. lol. Go figure. And since Tiffany reads through this forum, Im learning that I get responses right after I post on here. AWESOME.

I actually found a website online that sells sashes for .89 per satin sash. So Im thinking of just buying them and brining them down.... OH BTW. I just heard back from the M.A.C make up artist who is from the cancun area and is willing to travel to AS to do make-up for our group. here is here prices.s $100 for bride $60 for everyone else. Im going to concider this and compare it with AS spa prices.

amy, how big is it? You could pack it in a slim picture type box? a little bigger than a pizza box but thinner? somthing cardboard?
