Yeah... Feb 2/10 here and kinda freaked out a little when I hit the 5 month mark yesterday... damn I can count the months on one hand. We have clothes for our kids ordered on their way (hopefully arrive today) My Honey has his clothing My dress is in production..... flowy gown/scared I may look like a clown Photo Have stuff for DIY centrepieces ordered on the way Got the rings Got the thank you gifts in production and will arrive in a week or two. starting to plan details with the wedding coordinator - she is actually easy to communicate with ... doing the email thing I have had a few glasses of wine to calm me down.. On the floor laughing so hard...... I just can see searching in my friggin purse for my car keys and the purple dohickie falling on the floor. Opps that's my pee funnel. Ok floor open up and take me in. I think I just spit coffee all over my laptop...

We are considering doing T-shirts for everyone with the back of the shirt "The Vanderwouw Wedding Crashers and have them handed out at the aiport by a friend that knows pretty much everyone of our family and friends that are going. We thought of putting silly nicknames on the front of everyones shirt to make is fun. Our friend dave is Greek, his tshirt would be "The Greek" and wife "Goddess". We have another friend that is a veggie only guy that believes meat will kill you, His would be "The Whopper". Just a silly idea.

I love that Idea, I am actually using the paper lanterns on my tables as a centrepiece. I have ordered white and I am having a friend hand paint daisies on them and I will set them on the tables with a led tealight. I am using the 8 inch lanterns and my friend is using some kind of water based paint so it won't dry and crubble. I have a pic of one completed on my phone if i can figure out how to get it off the phone... i'll post it

Hi Ladies, Mine is a picture I found online of an older Mon Cheri (2007 collection) I am having it made and a few alterations to fit my body better. The top will be halter to support the twins better.

Don't even give it a second thought... 2 weeks... crash and burn with your honey once everyone else has gone home. Take sometime to let go of the stress and allow yourself time to dream a new dream... the one with your honey without the wedding plans and stress... Plan the new chapter of your life.... far too many of us don't allow our selves the gift of destressing..... a few days to say babe its all over, we did and look out world here we come two of us together..... 2 weeks for sure

We have ordered the Mugs and Drawstring bags for our gifts... We have filled the bags with Advil/Tissues/Mints/luggage tags/lip balms/Bubbles/ fans we are having them distrubuted at the airport by a friends as we'll already be in mexico. we have also done personalized Badges/Pins (Michael's) with our nickname for all our friends and family. We have a vegetarian his nickname is "The Whopper". Just fun stuff. These will hand out the arrival dinner.

Knock on my wooden head here!!! I have been traveling for about 15 years down south, Cuba, Dominican, Jamaica, Costa Rica and Mexico, one I had an item stolen. It was just a Toronto Blue jays hat and that was Cuba. No matter where you travel there is potential for theft and things to go wrong. It isn't the hotel!!! It is the staff that they hire and they change from time to time and you run a risk of being ripped off by dishonest staff. I have gone to really great restaurants here at home and had waiters and waitress rip me off and on a regular bases. Play it safe!!!!! If something is valuable lock it in the safe don't leave tempting items out in site. When leaving your room make sure you pull your door closed tightly ( I have came out and slammedthe door and it didn't actually shut only to realize I left something seconds later and go back to an open door. Don't be flashing money or expensive stuff around to tempt people. While we were in Punta Cana this year a older man that seemed to like to give the female bartenders a $20 from his cigerette pack for a tip and a smile. Well he fell asleep after many drinks and claimed he was robbed of his cigerettes and $100 Who knows!!! Just use your head and be careful. Sue

Ok it's 7am and Susie is checking her updates and is now freaking out!!!!!! My dress is flowy and soft and I am going to look like a lumpy clown. I too thought having a softer flowy dress would hide the rolls. I am having it made and will not get to even see the start of the dress until the end of Sept. Ok I gave my honey a list of wedding things to do, one of which being choosing wedding songs and he took it to a whole top secret level. I shouldn't know this, I snooped and found the songs, OK!!! I had a few tears ... Our first dance song is "Il Divo, Just to be the man you love". I can hardly stay quiet about this... I did put it on my Ipod. We will walk hand in hand to the alter to somewhere over the rainbow. I did choose this myself after we got engagded as I heard it while we were cruising the mountians in Costa Rica two years ago.

yeah finding that special dress can be so stressful, when getting married down south it is so hard because you know that you have the heat to deal with and the transportation of the dress. I went online and found a couple of dresses I liked and I am having my dress made, taking the part of the dress that I love. I'll let you know if I get married or join the circus.

I am paying 1517.00 from Toronto per person for flights leaving Jan 29th... i have been there before and booked last minute and was only able to get it down to 1475.00 person that was in 2005. Having been there once take a deep breath, I promise you it worth it".... Now can you help me with details lol do we have to pay extra to have bows on the chairs and table decorations i am thinking of buying this stuff online and bringing it with me to save money. what info have you gotten so far?
