Oh hun... Thank God You're not flipped out over this... Your attitude is admirable most brides would have been homicidal by now... i hope it works out -
Hello ladies... I just printed the invites for my AHR it is June 5th, we got married Feb.2nd Around the four month mark for us. We are doing something really simple "an open house venue" Stop by for a celebration drink and finger foods. I am hiring a bartender and two servers. (serveral of my friends kids have stepped up and said they'd love the job). I am also looking into ordering glassware and plates from a rental company. I want it to be reasonable but not cheap looking... I hate drinking out of a plastic glass!!! I have gotten the centre pieces for tables and lighting coming into our house. Hubby has been given the job or creating a DVD of our wedding pictures with music. We are figuring about 100 people through out the day. Good luck ladies...

I had the same thing happen, there was 250 views and 3 comments... One was from my FI asking me if he could come to the wedding.... I was put off too... oh well... You'll find those things will start to roll off you... people are strange!!!

Also was wondering if they still do the Mexican Fiesta on Thursday nights? Thanks so much =) No one knew it wasn't the real deal!!!! We signed a marraige certificate... Yes the Mexican Fiesta is on Thursday nights

Ok ladies it's 4am and I am awake.. Mark and I went house shopping this weekend there are a couple that we really love and I am stressing just thinking about moving. I really like the house we're in, I hate that I feel like it is in the middle of Grand Central Station. the main intersections for my area is the two busiest streets in town. I also have houses all around me. I feel like I am in a fish bowl. I also have no backyard!!!! It is totally all pool. The pool is great two months of the year!!! the rest of the time it is an eye sore, covered in an ugly tarp. I am so twisted right now this one house is just so beautiful and it is smaller which I want and totally my taste... not sure if this works "I'll try to send the link" REALTOR.ca - Property Details N1795400 I know I'll be down sizing big time, but less mortage and upkeep. mark and I went for dinner last night and I could see he wants this house and I was totally silent. he was chatting up a storm and me sitting there listening and going holy crap I could be moving in a few months. Needless to say that is why I am awake at 4am and have this huge pain in my neck...STRESSED!!!! -

Oh Timberly... Hun I just sent you a big cyber hug... I know it really sucks that people take you for granted,.I have a friend that has treated me like crap for months, I'd call her and leave a message and she'd call me back about a week later. She recently drove by my house and called me, I didn't answer the phone, I seen it was her calling and Mark and I were dealing with another drama session with Steph. She left me a voicemail saying I quess your screening your calls because I see both your cars are home. I have not called her back!!! I am like "why bother"? I am actually printing AHR invites today... Mine is a open house June5th ... Just simple here at the house. It's a pretty lazy day here..... We were at a Jack and Jill last night for Mark's cousin, so late night and too much vino... SusieQ is just blah today.... Glad to hear your AHR was a blast Shells.... Take care gals.... Don't stress over stupid people!!! OH and FYI.... I didn't email the crazy ass mom.... I figured she probably has the IQ of a turnip and wouldn't get what she did wrong....I just left it.....Actually Mark asked me just to leave it lol..... -

I was just thinking about how I was with him everyday for 16 days and how I was going to miss him. Our AHR is on March 27 so I'm still finishing up last minute things for that and then hope life settles down a little! Tricia that is such a beautiful picture of you and your hubby sorry Chris the monthly visitor came.. that'll be one blessing once your prego.... no monthly visitor Ladies i have heard from Rayanna and her wedding day was just amazing and they had a wonderful time. However she did come home to her dog being very sick and she has been dealing with that the past few weeks. I know my dogs are like my children and I know Parker is her child too. She is dealing with that situation and not feeling very social at the moment. she promised to check in with us soon and give us some pictures. Our girl is needing a little love and prayers right now.: Love ya ladies.... -

WTF, is it that hard to drop off the disks to me? Christ, mail them if it's that big of an issue. I'm getting ansy and oh so sick of waiting. On an unrelated topic, I know that I'm supposed to post this is the starfish passing thread, but if I'm going to do this, I want it to go to one of you ladies. I have a beautiful topaz colored starfish bouquet charm who I've taken to calling Philbert. He was my little piece of DW when we were married last month, and I'd love for him to actually get to go on a trip and be somebody's something borrowed. I'll send a journal with him, the only thing I ask is that you send him back when you're done with him, as my mother will be using him in her vowel renewal this fall. If you're interested, just email me! Anyways, I hope all is well with you ladies! Oh!!! There is a bride on our Feb bride thread that actually is a April bride and she is a sweetheart. I know some of us crazy brides are hoping to crash her wedding... Krista baird is her name.

I'm really lost regarding this. Have really no idea how the ceremony will go so that makes it hard. I'm going to have a ton more questions so any and all help is greatly appreciated! Civil so your not getting married before? (I had a symbolic ceremony, we married before Mexcio) I know that the person conducting the ceremony follows strict vows and you have to repeat those and exchange the rings with her vows. Then you are allowed to repeat your own vows (which is kinda silly because you have already said them kinda sorta in her words). Mark and I just found that the ring part was totally weird to say because you already have your rings on your fingers. He started with his own vows and didn't say the ring part. I did and it was just weird.. My husband said his while we were at dinner, he made me stand took my hand and pulled my ring off and said "I hate when people tell me what to say", this is what I wanted to say! and he said his commitment with the ring. Only my husband!!!!

Sooooo my aunt calls me last night (first one to contact me that she got my invite in the mail!) laughing... She says she had to call me and give me a little crap. I instantly got really nervous like I left the date or location off, or that I spelled a bunch of things wrong somehow.. She had to pay the post office to get her invite Oh nooooo -- it was only 17 cents, but still! I instantly got really nervous that ALL my guests had this problem! I'm an idiot! I didn't think anything of it! Luckily, so far I haven't heard this from any other guests. I have even checked with a few cousins and my parents. The aunt that called just happens to be the only family with 4 confirmed guests. That extra luggage tag just happend to put the weight over the limit! I have talked to two families with 3 confirmed guests and they got there's fine. I still feel stupid! But at least (so far) only one family had this problem. I'm glad it was my care-free aunt that just gave me a call to laugh. Ok that is too funny and you can certianly turn this around to be something totally funny for your guests. I would try to find out if that happen to a few of your guest and if there is a number of guests. Have a signature drink made for your wedding (your WC would help you for sure) and have it served at your wedding. They could call it "Extra Postage" or "17 cents". It would be a hoot.... We did it our wedding and it was to poke fun at my brother in law... They just changed the name of one drink to "Mr Speedo". (long story but totally cracked everyone up). Too funny girl!!!

FI was really hoping to have it at gran toruga but i guess we'll just eat there another day on the trip. They move pretty quickly on the booking of things because if you waited there could be another bride scooping up that time and restaurant. Flowers you can wait until you get there. I am sure they have to figure if they have to close it to the public if you have a really large group. It isn't that big of a restaurant, again it really is classy and the salad bar certianly could feed people quite easliy. please have a few for me lol The Gran Tortoga is nice and the food is great... A little older and overused, not as classy... you have gotten the better one...

I went with baby blue and I know the ladies all loved them. They wore them almost every night after the wedding. Our evenings were a little chilly after a day in the sun, and the pashminas was just enough to keep them warm. I had three teen girls and they kept using them. My mother inlaw has hers on her sofa for when she reads because she finds it wide enough to cover her shoulders and back while reading... Don't worry too much over it.. they'll get used!!!! Good Luck

I asked too... They have eveything down to an exact science. The WC has everything step by step and has everyone in place to pull it off... They use two way radios to keep everyone on task. One thing I will mention they follow a very strick ceremony and it is the only one they use, you do get to say your own written vows after you have repeated theirs scripted vows. Ours sounded kinda silly because we said the ring commitment twice... I don't care I am married and it was amazing lol... You won't either!!!! again if you have questions fire away

At the Portifino salad bar there was many types of salad, smoked salmon with cream cheese, different shell fish, pizzas, grilled veggies, lots of anti pasta dishes. breads dipps ect. There is tons of food and yummy... I didn't have my wedding there I had mine at Gran Tortoga because I stayed in the Tulum section. The night I went to the Portifino there was 12 of us which was my family and my husbands family. It was two nights before our wedding. I really liked the classy look of the Portifino, most of our group visited it before they left and totally loved it. I had a group of 23 people. Good luck ps don't worry to much I know once you get face to face with your WC things iron out really quickly. They do about 5 to 8 weddings a week, not likely you'll have a request they haven't experienced yet.
