I'm just worried because my mom is always worried about money and she had a small cow when we bought our truck because we had just bought the house and then we're going to get married. We both work and have good jobs!! You'd think at my age she would have been able to let go...she still refers to me as her baby. ha ha ha ha I just want them to be happy for us, but I'm worried about what she's going to say. Guess I won't know until I do. Funny how we still look for parents approval on everything!!! She will be over the top excited for you sweetie!!! I'd buy her a little something for her house that has to do with baby and just give it to her and tell her "mom I need you to do something for me, I need you to take on the roll as grandma to my baby and I need you to start being my best friend". Tell her "her mommy job is done and she has done a great job and now you need her to help you with your baby". She will be happy for you... Krista if she finds negitive in it... Don't let that take away from your joy, you are an adult and it is your life. Getting married and starting a family is just part of the life you want. Good luck hun "we'll be here!!! -

I am laughing my ass off!!!! We have 3 preggos now Oh how exciting!!!! I hope all my ladies are feeling wonderful... As you gals plan your families... my hubby and I are making arrangements for the big snip!!! Mark told me a couple days ago he is going to get it done because "We're Done"!!!! I think his daughter really has sent him over the edge!!!! OH BTW she refused to wish me Happy mother's day... Instead she phoned friends and got their mothers on the phone and wished them instead..... When Mark confronted her about it she said " oh I am sure Sue won't loose any sleep over it". Just wait she'll be asking for money soon to go to Taco Bell and I'll be telling her that "due to a recent lack of sleep". AH NO!!!!!! hahahahaha How the hell is everyone? -

I am quite a bit shorter than my other half so really want to wear shoes with a bit of a heel, how did any of you guys find walking in the sand?? I know this may seem a daft question but I need a bit of height!!!! From the pictures it looks it is quite a way to walk to the 'alter' so there is no red carpet to help you walk on the sand. Thank all of your for your previous posts has help me so much already & am so excited I could burst!!!! The gazebo on the Tulum side is a stone pathway... I wore a small heel!!!

Damn that was a wild few years... 30 something and ready to party all night long.... Yippers... I hope those have been lost somewhere. Breens baby girl how are you feeling? Brookie you too.. hope you gals are feeling great and enjoying the begining of motherhood... then it become parenthood and I think I am at the stage of "the bitch in the hood"!!!! Moat days anyway. My AHR is in a month... I said no gifts... wine only... You can not really screw that up now can they... I guess I could get granny's blueberry brew from the basement that taste like gasoline... OH I hope not.... My mother in law is really funny she has told everyone that didn't make it to our wedding in Mexico to buy a really nice bottle of wine because my daughter in law Sue is a wine expert..... lmao... I said to her that being a lush and drinking too much wine makes me an expert...lol She said no I didn't want anyone cheaping out on you...... Damn my mother in law makes me laugh. Have a great day ladies -

I mean, obviously family will get more or bigger ones later on down the road, but 3.5 x 5 picture as a thank-you... is that ok? check out the cards... they are so cute! Hey Chirs I used the same Thank you cards and yes I did the 5x3.5 and it was fine. Krista, My pops did sing newfie songs and he certianly did the jig... every morning before breakfast. He also randomly did the jig at the bank, the grocery store and the local garage... People mentioned it at his funeral... It was just something he did to get attention. Yeah I am going to miss him and so will a lot of other people. PS baby I love your dress and the makeup is stunning!! chris I love your pictures!!!! Timberly you really got shafted by the bank.. and the fact is they really don't care just slays me!!! sabrina and Brooke your both too cute!!!! too cute!!! Erica... those munchakes will cut in on your baby making time!!!! Oh on a funny note!!! my gfriend had to take a less than desirable job because she is going to school and she needed evenings... So she took a job at a adult video store because it paid better than retail. She started last friday and she said she has had her share of nuts come in and ask her about movies and if she seen them. One old fart asked her if she wanted to come over after her shift and watch it with him. The funny part of the story is she had the pleasure of helping my ex husband finding a movie... He only ever met her once and doesn't remember her. she remembers him lol..... My funny story for friday ..... -

Hi Ladies, Sorry I have been MIA, I got some bad news Saturday night, my grandpa passed away. He lives in Newfoundland and lived to the wonderful age of 93. I had gone home to see him last summer with my gfriend. It was a big trip for me I hadn't been back home for nearly 15 years. I had a grear visit with him and I knew when I was leaving I wouldn't see him again. It is really hard to explain, I felt more sadness saying bye to him last summer than I am feeling now knowing he is gone. I am getting the guilt trip from my family for not getting on a plane home at the tune of $1500 and flying home. I am ok with not going back for a funeral.... i said my good bye last summer. On brighter note Brooke love the ticker and congrats Sabrina I hope your feeling good!!!!! Erica love the pic of you and hubby Chris "I'd be ready to kill that photographer by now.... Krista you must be so excited that your day is coming up so quickly!!!! Oh and Brooke easy on the moving.... I don't care if you appear to be a Diva!!! you take it easy.... Momma BDW said so!!!!! Sending my Love Sue -

That is such a sad story... i'd be freaking out too... My dogs are like my children and I know my heart would be broken if something was to happen to either of them. When we went away for our wedding it was the biggest drama of who was going to care for our dogs. I hope he is found soon... keep us updated

That would be so fantastic, we were supposed to go to Europe for a late honeymoon, and that's not going to happen now... Susie-I am guessing yellow. I love many colors, and not to do the non-gender thing, but I really do love yellow, the brighter the better Let me know if that helps! I am so excited! Yellow it is!!!!! Krista, did you get yours? We finally got ours this week... honestly, I am kind of disappointed, there arent many of Austin and I with guests, some guests arent even included at all, only a few of the kids... very few of guests turning and smiling at the camera... its like he went so natural that there are lots of pictures of people off in thought... some of the ones friends took are better to be honest... although there are plenty of nice ones...- I shouldnt complain... I checked the shot list we submitted and 20% of the ones we requested he didnt do... kind of stimeyed, what to do?? He also said the ttd ones didnt turn out and has not returned 2 emails now for creating the book- which is in the contract. Frustrated also because we hired a photog for 3 hours are our AHR and they have not arrived- the said she sent them 3 weeks ago?? Also not returning emails. Arrrrrrrrrrrrrg!! (that smiley is funny) Here are the pictures: what do you guys think? Alison Jamaica - Igo Photography Kristy, ... how is your planning going?? Re pictures, make sure your shot list is comprehensive and maybe take a copy of it and review it on the day? Allow plenty of time for pictures (we ran out of sun)... You wouldn't think you would have to ask a photog to take pictures of guests posed smiling but I guess you do. (thats my unsolicited advise So does anyone think they are preggo yet? This is the first month that we hit the date on the head, I am looking forward to seeing if it could be... Austin started talking about baby names last night and that makes me excited to know he is thinking about it. I am 36 so my little eggs have walkers to head down the ole fallopian tube.. I am kind of expecting to go to a fertility dr... Do you guys think it is ok to drink margaritas in moderation while trying? I mean many a pregnancy has occurred during a booze up, right? Hope all are well -Alison Oh Allie I love your pics... I have goose bumps looking at them.... You looked amazing!!!! Re: the preggo and a few drinks.. I think from what we know of you, you'd do anything like drinking in moderation... I wouldn't worry about a few cocktails to set the mood.... Also to live your life and not put that stress on yourself..... I think you'll know pretty soon if you have concieved. Good Luck Ladies..... damn cute I am waiting!!! -

Update to the house shopping... Chris, Mark was totally on board to sell our house before we went away and I think somewhere along the line that faded and he didn't say anything to me until a few days ago. So we went to see the house again and while were where there we were advised that there was two offers pending and the agent was waiting for us to have one last look. I did go through and realized just how much pressure would be on me over the next few weeks or months to get our house sold and packed. I really got where mark is coming from and we went for beers and chilled... No house shopping for a while... Oh well happy weekend ladies -

Hi ladies Me again..... I am totally in a funk.. Mark is trying to talk me out of seeing that house again tonight... He said to me I need to stop and look around before crossing the street... WTF is that!!! His thing is he thinks I am making this move to get his daugther away from some of her friends (well maybe).. He also said that I am adding too much to my plate with an at home reception in two months and the stress of having our house on the market with two dogs and keeping it clean for potential buyers...Yes we vacuum and mop every second day because of a furry friends. however I will always have that issue when listing. The dogs are here to stay and that will be an issue when ever we list. I am really bummed because i know he isn't on board... He is attached to this house and I friggin as hell don't know why.... Yup i am cranky!!! Otherwise Timmy my love... I am so happy you are planning on an AHR because after all the stress you had you deserve to celebrate that moment one more time. Don't let a few jealous people take away you thunder.... You got married, your happy and life is great..... Celebrate... what better way to show people that forget their manners than your charm. brooke you can not make a baby in another state!!!! just to let you know!!! Get home and get busy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -

I currently have 5 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms on the second floor and two in the basement... My bedroom is 28 feet by 23.... So yeah half the size!!!! We are going to look at it again tonight.... Mark is really trying to convince me to stay here one more year. I like this house it is just very big and hard to keep clean... I also live on a property the size of a postage stamp.... I know once the weather gets nicer I be happier here, the winter months are hard on me... I do love that house because it is open concept and the size of the back yard. We'll see tonight.. one more look....it's friday and I could be packing soon. -

Totally agree with the sewing kit, There came a knock on my room door it was the gentleman driving me to the wedding site, right on time 5 minutes before the ceremony begins. I bend over to slip on my sandel and the little tack the seamstress did in the front of my dress to hold the girls in snapped. (Sounded like a gunshot) There they were and I am in total panic mode... I don't any safety pins or a needle and thread... Thank the blessed lord the resort had a kit and the bloody things were pre threaded, because I was shaking like a leaf and about to loose my cookies. My girlfriend sewed me in my dress as the poor driver poured us champagne and he reminded me not to cry!!!! PACK A SEWING KIT!!!!! -

Chrissy Hi Chrissy We were married at the Tulum Feb.2nd and had our reception dinner at the Gran Tortuga. They do not let you change the music, they have their own. We did do speeches there because again we wanted to use as much time for the music and dancing. The restaurant is really nice, they tuck you into one corner away from other guests. You start with the salad bar which has tons of different food to suit anyone and then they bring meat and seafood on large swords and cut it onto your plate. It is so good and you get so full.. We had the poolside reception aswell and for 2 hours 8.30 to 10.30.. We used our own ipod (big mistake) the wind and a show at the theatre drowned our music out. I hope this helps Sue
