I have very curly hair, jus down past my shoulders... I do straighten it here in Canada, I have found it is pointless to try down south. for me I can feel that bloody curls creeping in minutes after I straigthen it. I use a product called CHI and it is great for straigtening and for curly styles... it leaves my hair soft without the frizz... My fav way to wear my hair while I am down south is a quick updo. washed hair my chi, and I pull it high in a ponytail at the top of my head with a band. I squeeze the hair towel dry at the top of the ponytail and I mousse the ponytail. It creates very formed curls at the top of my head that I arrange and pin with bobby pins. I love it because it is a 5 mintue style and very cool. Sometimes I will wear a headband aswell...Looks cute with a small flower too

I just got an email update from another wedding planning thread "theknot.com" "holy smokes!!! I am six weeks away... I am as sick as a dog and I feel like crawling under a rock.. I look and feel like crap... Oh and I am getting married in six weeks... Yeah I know suck it up it's just the flu.... I don't feel very bride like these past few days.. Nothing radiant or glowing about me.. lol When your online at 4am in the morning you get to talk to yourself....

Brooke it's 3am where are you... I'm awake.... yeah not so over that flu : ( Oh my tummy is hurting tonight....

It is scandelous that I got them that cheap... Their amazing.......I wanna kiss that chic.... can you tell I am over the top!!!!lol seriously.. Brooke and Timmy... these things are just stunning ... what a find!!! Ok shut up Sue!!! Damn it's friday and my tummy won't handle a drinkie poo... I disagree... I think anyone that has been has been apart of your life should be given the opportunity to wish you well in your wedding day. This is my second marriage and things are more low keyed, however I had a huge shower at my first wedding. I had a teacher from grade school that came. Showers I think should be more open to people that are not invited.... my 2 cents

Susie wasnt on in the middle of the night last night, she must really be sick!! (hope you are feeling better today) PS- My dress came in, yippee (nervous excited, first fitting is on Tuesday) Ali, I slept from 7pm to 7am this morning... My tummy is a litltle woozy this morning, however I do feel so much better. Damn it is a brutal bug.... I am feeling bad that my FI will probably get the bug before it's done in our house. Thank god my son is visiting his dad for the week because his dad will be away for the holidays. So exciting your dress is in.... Doesn't that just hit you Your getting married soon. As for feeling a strong bond with the gals on this thread.... totally..A really true down-to-earth bunch of gals.... It is wondeful that we have all come together and are able to share details of our weddings and our lives. Funny how I have been on this thread for three months and I feel I have gained this huge group of gfriends. I have to drag my butt to work today... My one part time gal will not work on Fridays..it's her casino day... Damn she has issues... thats another story.lol

Hey Krista, I am from Gambo Newfoundland... I was home this summer to see my pops, I hadn'y been back for 15 years and he is getting so old. I really enjoyed my visit. As for my wedding the only Newfies will be my brother and I. We are going to dance together to Goofy Newfie.. lol should be fun. I can not believe how close our wedding are ... holy smokes!!!! I am looking forward to the holidays being over so I can focus on the wedding and just relax.... do you back home often?

I feel like a truck hit me... lucky it is two days before school ends and my two part time ladies are covering my butt...
