Ok I am home from my gfriend ( she lives nextdoor).. two glasses of wine and I am toast. She is laughing at me because I am falling asleep at the beginning of the second... yeah the holidays get tricky, we have a combined family one child each.. They both live with us fulltime. My son I always have for xmas asmy Ex goes home to another province to visit his family for xmas. However FI's daugther will not be her xmas morning or for dinner because we are putting her on a bus xmas Monday the 21rst and sending her on a 5 hour trip to see her mom for the holidays. It is heart breaking for my FI he know his ex doesn't do xmas the way we do at our house. But that's life and she needs to see her mom. Sorry off track.... This time of year is stressful and sometimes you just have to look at whats best for your immediate family and say "no". Maybe stay home for xmas and alternate years that you pack up and go to each family after xmas day... I don't think there is an easy answer that will take away the stress or the guilt of not doing whats expected of you. Goo Luck

Your a trooper honey and I know your dad is heartbroken he couldn't be there, but proud as hell he raised a strong daugther that can handle the battles and challenges life has to offer. You are going to make that man an amazing wife and mother of his children... Life isn't always going to be a bed or roses.. and marriage, children and life in general will always throw us curves and challenges. You just proved that you can hand le those moments in life... Oh I lost 6 pounds in 3 days... holy smokes... talk about diet... I am sure is just lost in fluids and I'll gain it back quickly enough with the holidays... thank god i don't live near you chickies with the home made baked cookie.... I'd have it back by lunch time..

I am in th industry of getting homes ready for market and I also buy older homes and renovate them for resale... Go tiles through.. here is the reason, very clean, closet are the worst for dust because things sit in there collecting it. Tile floor you'll sweep through with your vacuum and mop much easier... Go carpet and you have to stop and change the setting or the head of the vacuum for that small area, pain in the butt.... You'll love the look of tile it will make both areas look bigger.
