And most of my family is soooo easy going that I doubt there will be a problem - but when reviews say things like "the staff was terrible, which is weird because we were always polite" really, really scares me. And I have NO idea how FI's family is going to react!! I can't change my resort - nor do I want to, really - but OMG it absolutely TERRIFIES me!! Today is exactly 100 days to the wedding. I'm freaking out a little. Thanks for letting me vent. Make up fake emails and user names and post a ton of great reviews and condem the people who are posting bad reviews... I am kidding!!! That isn't in your control sweetie and no one can give you poop for that... You don't have a crystal ball to predict the future... Try not to worry!!!

I have been reading through some of the fustrations stresses and fears you gals are talking about... another 2cents from the old bag... It's your wedding, do what makes you and FI happy and stop worrying about everyone else and if they are going to be happy with everything you have choosen or have planned. I think turning 40 a few years back (Yes STFU) I stopped giving a crap if people were happy with me.... I am happy with me.... I know I can not please everyone... why the hell shouldn't it be me thats my first priority?? I am going back to bed... old and wise.. tired and stupid ... lol

welcome Tinkatude, Funny how we have all done things differently. FI and I sent out a "Save the Date video montage almost a year prior to our wedding date. we annouced our intention to have a DW and that the date was Feb 2/10 and approx. cost. Then in June we sent out the invites to everyone we had sent the video to, and asked that they respond to our TA by Oct.31 to ensure that price. I pretty much just left it after that ... Your coming your coming... if your not your not... You bloody lost. With that said there are pages of my fustration with my brother that keeps bragging about going and doesn't book. We are planning a private pool reception after dinner for a few hours until the disco opens... Just to keep the party going for the older family members that may not want to go to the disco. Also for our first dance and toasts. OK Mommy bear here... Get cracking on those flowers ladies.... I seen so many posts on here about flowers not arriving before the bride and groom have left for their wedding. get that stresser off the list.. come on move it!!!!!!! OOT bags stuff sometimes can be a little tricky, You need to come up with the bag idea first I think... I have seen some pretty awesome bags (hmmmm Vdaybride!!!!) and I have seen just coloured paper bags with bride and groom logos on them. It is just what you want to spend and how important that is for you. I did drawstring bags at $3.35 each from a promotions company... however it took 4 weeks to arrive. Transportation of these bags is best "YOU"!!!!! take your stuff with you... I have had to ask family to take things for me because of the weight. I am taking 4 suitcases between FI ad I and I have another 3 shipped out to friends and family. That's SusieQ 2cents... Hope my lovelies have had a great day... I have been very busy today and I actually slept 5 hour tonight... It's 4.30am and I am excited I got 5 hours sleep.... I am hoping I can convince myself to go back for at least one more hour... I haven't put the coffee on yet... there maybe a chance.

I have a gerber daisy on my lower back below my pant waist... I got it in memory of my grandmother, she died 10 years ago from cancer. while she was in hospital in her final days the meds were so strong she would say really weird things... One day she told me she wanted to come back as a daisy. She may have meant Daisy Duke, for all I know.. stuff didn't make a whole lot of sense.. lol... one year after she died i got a daisy on my back.

On a happy note last night we went to Justin's xmas party and they did a raffle and we won the big prize of a 32" flat screen tv... i was like...sweet early wedding gift from the company! So as I write this he is setting it up. " Awesome news Brooke.... Krista people just don't get it until their in your shoes... I would have told her thanks for de stressing me by annoying me... OMG I am going to bloody scream... If this 15 year old doesn't drive me to drink nothing will... She has been told how many times that she has to be in her room quiet at 10pm... I am a light sleeper she damn well knows this and she waits until I am gone to bed at 9.30 to go in her bathroom and start straightening her hair. It's 11.pm i just woke up to the smell of G*d damn hair burning and her slamming drawers. So I confront her and she is, "like I don't know why i waited until 10 oclock to straighten my hair". She is going to bed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh Breathe Sue Breathe... I want to strangle her... I am awake I had 1 hour sleep last night and about 45 minutes tonite... I am done....

Yikes.. when you own your own business and deal with the public... You have to be able to take fedback, understand it and grow from it. I am a small business owner and yes sometimes people are not 100% happy with your work... It happens.. it's what you learnfrom that experience and fedback...

I love the sound of him sleeping next to me... He doesn't snore he just has a sound that he makes when he sleeps, it's a breathing sound that soothes my soul... He also kisses my hands just at the most random times... Freaks me out.... I could be cooking dinner or sitting reading a book... he'll pick up my hand and kiss the top of my hand.... They both took off upstairs and slammed the bedroom door. I left it until this morning and I told FI what happened and he blasted his daughter and her friend and then drove her home... The nerve!!!!! "You can not tell me what to do"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DAMN IT GIRL!!! I'll eat you!!!!

Just my 2 cents... I had my son at 22 and he is 20 now.. It's great that I'm young and I have my freedom now to do what I want. However being a youg mother was a huge challenge, I wasn't sure of myself and i struggled with motherhood because i was still a kid. However my dearest friend waited until she was 34 before she started her family and at 38 she had her second Feb 09. She had her career and she is such a different mom than what I was. She is confident and strong in her approach to parenting while I felt overwhelmed all the time. I always seem to struggle and she seems to have it all under control.... So yes health maybe a concern because of age however I think older parents are stronger parents. My 2 cents.... Best of luck to each and everyone of you ladies, becoming a parent is the most amazing thing you can ever do in life.... It is an amazing love.

Get the word out to those near and dear that this is your plan and that there may not be a whole lot of notice, however you'll do you best. There will be people that will make and ones that won't... The truth and every bride will tell you, "that's the facts whether you give a ton of notice or fairly short. Some people will not make it... Some will totally suprize you and be first on board. Don't stress over the ones that can't!!!! Have the time of your life and enjoy the planning.. We'll be here every step of the way. Congrats and Welcome
