I have heard a lot about the beach as far as erosion, there is a nice one if you just walk south, etc. But does anyone know if there is decent snorkeling actually on the resort? Thanks!

Yes and no. I adore Elf and the usual stuff like A Christmas Story. Some others I can do without. Like or dislike: days when the boss is out! ;o)

Does anyone have anything [pics, info, brides who have done it] about a ceremony on the beach here? I've had no luck googling, searching this forum, or getting a return e-mail from the resort ( The gazebo is beautiful, but I am not going to Mexico to get married without my feet in the sand, haha. Thanks!

I would MUCH rather deal with a completely drunk bridesmaid. At least she would be fun and I could do something about it! I know I'll have the bad mouthing MIL though, she's already started... haha. Would you rather have a long weekend consist of Friday off or Monday off?

Thank you so much for the review! The more I read, the more I am leaning toward Dreams Cancun. Only thing is I want a ceremony on the beach and have had no luck finding a review of a beach ceremony there. We will see! But you wedding was gorgeous, love the colors and your bouquets were WOW. Looks like you had a great time, can't wait for my turn.

I would rather plumeria's. My sister and multiple cousins had cala lillys, so I'd want to be different. Would you rather a week without your cell phone or a week without internet?

Got some feedback from people on Facebook who have stayed here. ONLY downside I have found to this resort is that there is no snorkeling really on site. When I stayed at the Catalonia RM, the snorkeling was AMAZING and I want my guests who have never left the states to have that experience on site. ( I guess it comes with the location.
