  1. I'm guessing that's what we call White Elephant... so yes. We play it with stuff we don't out from our houses each Christmas. Like or dislike: flavor packets for bottled water
  2. WOW your work is amazing!!! We are honored to have you on the forum.
  3. In my Frito Pie! ) Peanut M&Ms.

We might be at the same resort on the same day. I am so torn between lots of resorts, lol. I really like Dreams Cancun, Grand Sunset Princess, and Sandos Playacar right now. We are hoping for April 21, but would take either of the other dates you listed as well. What resort are you thinking?? Would be very cool to meet some BDW brides while there! I think black would look amazing on the beach if it if short dresses. A good contrast to all the natural colors out there and it can work for any season.
  5. Should I or shouldn't I? Either way, I'll let y'all know! Vistaprint.com has tons of stuff for free right now. I'd LOVE to order some STD postcards or return address labels right now but I'm apprehensive because we are getting married in 2011. If any of y'all are ready though, I'd say go for it! You only have to pay shipping on a lot of things or get a big discount on orders over the minimum amount, which is an amazing deal. I think I'll wait and hope they run another deal closer to when I am ready to send stuff out. Considering postcards that just say to Save the Date for April 2011 wedding in Mexico. I wish I could do more now!! haha.
  6. My dad is the one wishing it were April 2010 instead of April 2011 just because he got excited thinking the wrong year from the beginning. There are those unsupportive people, but I have much more entirely supportive ones to make up for it. My uncle said his class reunion (30 year) is going on a cruise but if it were close to my wedding, he would miss out on that for me. If it weren't for my future in-laws, it would be late October 2010 (right after hurricane season)... but his mother teaches and all of his siblings are in elem, high, college, or grad school. I know they say they probably will not make it, but April 21, 2011 is good for us because it's during Louisiana spring break and I want his family to have the opportunity to make it. No excuses!

I am SOOO glad someone else had to deal with this! It's just watching tv or movies that he does it. Been trying to make him stop for 6.5 years with no luck. I just lightly touch his face without even looking at him to temporarily make him stop without everyone telling me I am crazy and to leave him alone.

LOL One girl I work with always starts explaining stuff with "for one.." and there is NEVER a two. This happens a minimum of 3 times per week. As far as FI goes, I tell him things that I find important and worth remembering. He responds. A week later he asks me a question and the answer is whatever I had previously told him, which turns into me saying "Really?!" and giving him the look. He gets mad and says he can't remember everything. I'm glad that is my only complaint about him.

This sounds like a great idea. I really need to get on the ball with choosing a resort and not just an area though. So many to choose from and FI is about to graduate with his BSN degree, hopefully after that he will help me decide! BUT I am one of those laid back girls that isn't lugging extras down there either. I'm just worried about my bikinis fitting in one suitcase and carrying on my wedding dress!
  11. Whitney Houston : The Preacher's Wife
  12. Love children, even the bad ones sometimes. Unsure if I will have my own or not. Large family, I can always borrow theirs, haha! Coached gymnastics to girls 2-10 years old and it was the most fun job I ever had. Like or dislike: flavored pistachios
  13. I'm going to go with hop. Funny one, btw! I'm sure I would be in great shape if I hopped everywhere I went. Would you rather a job that you love with coworkers/bosses you dislike OR a job you dislike with coworkers/bosses you love. P.S. Flew from my town to Houston (to fly out of Houston) before. It's about a 30 minutes flight, if that. Sure beats the 3 hours drive!
  14. Congrats to you! Sounds like fun. Happy planning.

[email protected] We are not to keen on the gazebo so are thinking a beach wedding would suit us more. Can't wait to see more photos! If you have a Facebook, Dreams Riviera Cancun has a very interactive page with lots of info and pictures. Not that this forum doesn't give you everything you need ;o) Just an extra way to help you decide.
  16. Go out to dinner, I am not one to cook. How do people find time?! Would you rather take a long road trip or fly to your [driveable] destination?
