    I too am confused about the cost and lagalities involved with the wedding certificate coming from Mexico. A friend of mine was married in Mexico last year and says that technically she isn't married in Canada because they haven't paid some other fee that is required in canada? Makes no sense to me.... I guess I better go to city hall and get this figured out.

    Still no engagement ring......Aaaarrrgggggggg! They will definitely be receiving a call from me on Monday......and probably not the "super pumped happy bride", but rather the "don't mess with me, i'm getting married in less than 3 months" bride.

    Future MsMoutlon: dress looks stunning on you. Love the halter and how it really defines your waist. Gorgeous choice!! FutureMrsGoodrich: BD shoots vary in price. I am giving a BD book to my FI the night before our wedding. My shoot is costing a few hundred dollars, but the books can get quite pricy, depending on the style and quality of book. My photographer has quoted anywhere from $300-$1200.

    I think it is gorgeous and looks great on your figure! The beading is beautiful and I love the shape. IMO most brides have buyers remorse for one reason or another. You could go back and try on other dresses, but you might find yourself even more confused......there are millions of dresses out there and it can become addictive. I say that you focus on this dress and start looking for accessories.....shoes, jewelry, etc......that way it won't feel like the experience is over. Good luck!

    Elena, You said it right when reminding us of what's really important. I keep telling myself that almost anything can go wrong with details and I will still be a very happy Mrs. Good to hear that your wedding was beautiful and that you are a happy bride!

    Our resort offers a balloon release after the ceremony.....i think it would be a nice idea, but i've always wondered where the balloons end up.......hmmmmm....haha. I've also seen people release doves.

    Very smart! My FI chose to wear a suit, so that will help in pics.....nobody likes pit marks!

    I thought that I knew exactly what I wanted for a wedding band (eternity band with tons of DIAMONDS!) Turns out that when I tried one on with my e-ring (which sounds very similar to yours) the diamond band didn't sit as nice and I found that it took away from the beautiful diamond in my e-ring. I suggest that you don't make a decision (or argue with the FI) until you have tried on a few different styles.......then you will know what think looks best on you.     I had to send my engagement ring away a week ago because I'm having my wedding band custom made to fit. Every day since (several times a day) I've freaked when I look at my ring finger.....and no ring.......it's like I've lost it. Whoa paranoid! I'm hoping I get it back soon before I lose my mind. Has anyone else had to send their ring away? How long before you got it back?

    GBP Tulum on February 18th, 2010..........and can't wait! I'm loving all of the planning, but so far it has been super easy........i guess there isn't much to plan with a DW.

    Nadine, I can't believe that you found a dress for $100 with a $4000 budget. I bet that your FI is quite impressed with that steal! Can't wait to see your planning thread....i'm very intrigued. You are right about the selection at S2.....very limited, but I must say.....excellent service!

    SandalGirl- I think the shot glasses look great! We actually buy a shot glass everywhere that we travel so I love this idea (even thought we didn't end up getting them). I checked out your entire bio and it so fun! Your dress is gorgeous and you are glowing with happiness in it. Sorry to hear about all the extra charges this week I keep reminding myself that we still have a few months to try and spread out all the costs.

    I agree with VDay on the AHR wording. Great way to keep it simple and not leave anyone out. We didn't put our parents because we are paying for most things and also because of the step-parent thing and too many names ( I didn't even think of just using "parents", but too late now). We put something along these lines: TeNeil...... & Greg........ will be married in the breathtaking Mayan Riviera Please join us for a celebration when we return (Date and Time) (Location)

    Just keep reminding yourself that all of this planning is to marry your man!! You look grogeous in both dresses, but go wth the dress that made you smile the most. Both dresses are great in different ways. Dress #1 is flirty and sexy (the bottom is great). Dress #2 is very sleek, elegant, and sexy. IMO dress #2 looks stellar on you! Good luck........I find that wine instantly takes away wedding stress....haha!

    I just ordered from discount mugs the other day. I had to pay for my order online before it would send the order. They gave the option of a credit card or paypal. I too asked for a proof, so am waiting on that. I hope that there isn't an unexpected $55 customs fee because I didn't even think of that. SandalGirl is right......would have been better to order from the Canadian company and get the extra mugs for about the same cost. Too late for me, but hopefully others can take advantage of this info.

    Vday Bride, No worries about the Passion Party. I went to one last week and had a great time. It was very tasteful and I found that they had some great products. i think it would be a really fun way to interact and have some laughs at a bridal party. Just my thoughts! By the way, you look absolutely gorgeous in your dress!!

    Hey ChristinaP, I didn't go dress shopping until the end of September......I wouldn't suggest anyone wait this long because they said 4 months until my dress is in. That means I only have about 2 weeks before my wedding to get alterations.....could be a crunch!! I found Pronovias gowns beautiful.......how long did they tell you for ordering? Jennybell, Thanks for the Nine West tip.......I love a sale! Hwannamaker, Lets just say that I went over my budget......like almost doubled it....oops.
