I Love these but FI said no to them, they were not practical how do you put them in the wine bottle with a tight seal without poking your hand. He wanted nice and practical. Dea

My family acts the exact same way. I told my mom I was getting married, then when we decided on a destination wedding we created an electronic invite (we only gave ourselves 14 weeks from the day we decided to the day of the wedding). The invite was sent to all family and friends. The wording we used on the invite was as follows. You could use similar wording for a save the date. Dear Family and Friends: Warren and I have finally chosen a date and a location for the wedding. (details attached) We have decided on a destination wedding in Jamaica. It is someplace neither one of us has been to, but friends have, and they loved it. We realize that by going away to get married few of our friends and family will actually be able to attend. For this we apologize. Warren and I will be planning a get together once we return from Jamaica - invitations to follow by mail once we have finalized all the details. Should you wish to attend the wedding or view details about the resort I have attached two links below for your convenience. If you do decide to attend please advise us in advance so we can notify the wedding planner. Your local wine establishment will sell nice boxes, some will even be set up for a bottle of wine and glasses. We have bought a few for gifts. I find the specialty wine stores have the nicest box. Dea

Another two hour workout with the trainer today, cannot believe how soar I am. I sure hope the body accepts the excercise, the mind is shutting down already. Dea

Hired myself a trainer. Today is day three, I swear he is trying to kill me. Two hour work outs five days a week. I think I am going to dye.... Oh well today was my big milestone. I am down 15 pounds in three weeks and I only just started the exercise so hopefully the weight will drop off faster. Oh please please please melt away. Dea

Here are the details about the restaurants. This was posted last week. When I spoke to Air Canada they said they should have the renos done next week. Don't hold me to this, I check the aircanada vacations site once a week to see what is going on. Dea Please note we have been advise on some upcoming renovations that will take place in the next weeks: The blue lagoon restaurant will be closed for renovation, having our 2 other buffets open to guests. Indian and Italian restaurants closed also for renovations but our guests can dine alternatively in them. All the other restaurants and bars are fully working. Pool Renovation Update: The spa pool will be closed from Aug 25-September 14, 2009. The Main pool will be closed from September 24 for 30 days and is schedule to open October 31, 2009. The 2nd pool at Grand Palladium will be closed from September 10 - September 25, 2009 and will reopen September 26, 2009. The 2nd pool at Lady Hamilton section section of property will be closed from September 17 , 2009 - October 02, 2009.

Not that this is going to help you but, let him do what he wants, you did your best to get him a good deal if he does not want to take it then so be it. He is the one that will be traveling on his own when in the end you and your other guests can party on the plane down. Dea

We both have our own chequing accounts, I have the savings account, I do all the investing and all the saving. FI pays all the bills and all the expenses, I pay for my clothes and my crafts unless he is around. The rest of my cheques go into either the savings account or my chequing account. We have agreed on a specific amount of money to go into the savings account each month and I make sure that happens. We have discussed this and after we get married this will not change. We like have different banks. We just bought a house and it was great having two banks because they played against each other to give us the best interest rate. Dea
