I am making my shells with gum paste (I think that is what it is called) then they won't melt. You buy the gum paste from Michael's and follow the directions. It is what is used in making flowers for cake. Dries hard and will be easy to transport. Chocolate I was told by the baker would get soft and probably melt as well handling will leave finger prints.
My fiance and I both agreed on number one, however his reasons where a little different than mine. Number two reminded us of a party dress and we felt number one showed off your figure better in number one. Our opinion only.
