Hello ladies, I would like your opinion on this situation please. This will be my second marriage and due to that we have decided to forego the "traditional" wedding bc I have already did that and I hated the expense that I incurred for one breif day. So we decided of course on a DW. The question is this.... Do I have my father walk me down the isle again? Initally I was going to have my 6 yr old son walk down the aisle with me, however bc no one else is bringing their children, I have decided to leave my son with my exhusband as I dont think its fair for my son to be the only child there. I dont know what to do? Due to the fact that I am having an informal beach wedding whether or not its okay not to have my father take me down the isle. One bc he did it before and two bc its informal. Im also afraid of hurting his feelings possibly, but in the end it is my decision. Im not the 21 yr old I was when I got married the first time, I will be 33 by the time my wedding rolls around and I think its kinda weird having my father walk me down the isle again. Maybe bc of the failure of my first marriage. I dont know....Please help! Please keep in mind a few things when placing you opinion: 1) informal wedding 2) small beach ceremony 3) 2nd marriage Thanks so much!

I was told that by removing the crinolin on the dress, that it would provide some releif to the heat. I know from my first wedding I died from the heat due to the crinolin. However you need to find out how much the dress will change if it is removed. Luckily if you do remove the crinolin and dont like it without it - it is an easy fix. If you got hot when you tried the dress on, more then likely your going to be really hot in mexico, but you never know Good luck and congrats!

I think you should keep your dress. There are going to be hundreds of people out there that are going to have them same dress as all of us on here. Unless you get it custom made you arent going to win here. I think you shouldnt worry about what other people have, if you love it...then that is THE DRESS for you!

I like the 2nd dress alot, but I would be worried about getting too hot. I think I would go with Dress #3. I almost picked a dress similar to #2 but found in an air conditioned bridal store, I was hot, I could only imagine what i would be like on a beach...so I went with an airy one, like your third choice!
