I think I am going thru western union with her. She might be emailing you tonight about it. Carmen also said that she would be contacting paypal tomorrow to talk with them about it to see what the hold up is. Just wanted to give you a heads up Take care Jenn -
It sounds to me like you know what you are going to do, your just waiting to make sure your making the right decision.......Just remember that you always need to take care of #1 first. With whatever decision you make, you have to own that decision and let it go. If you stay you have to put it behind you and you cant bring it up again as it will drive you crazy, you will have to allow yourself to trust him....and if you choose to end things then again you have to let it go and not wonder ...what if?? Your in a really tough situation....I really hope your okay and wish you luck in whatever decision you make.....good luck!

I think my biggest stress is the money. Trying to get it everything I want in the budget we have set. Plus Im paying for all of it. He is paying for the rings and I get the wedding costs bc Im the one that wants the wedding. He would be happy if we just stayed common law forever, but thats just not me. So he has agreed to the whole wedding thing, but Im paying for it. Now I know some of you are shaking your heads and thinking that you wouldnt put up with that...but I really dont mind. He is marrying me bc he loves me and he knows its important to me. And he is buying the rings I want so I figure we are basically even in the cost portion of this. All that matters to me is that he wants to marry me bc he loves me and he knows that I really want this, he is doing this for me. BC really what guy ever REALLY wants to get married?? Most of my guy friends all say the same thing that the only reason they propose is bc they love their girlfriends and they know that marriage is important to them, that and the fact that it is expected socially. I know some guys really do want to get married, but from what I have heard from many other brides, patients and my guy friends, is just that. So if I could win the lotto I would be great, but I dont think that is going to happen any time soon.....lol

Carolina, Thanks for the input. I really do like the resort bc of what it can provide on the romance side of things for our honeymoon. They offer so much more then the other resorts do. Still not sure what we are doing but I will keep that in mind when deciding. I think it will depend on what we are looking for....we have been living together for such a long time that our honeymoon wont be as such a big thing to us as it would be for most newly married couples. I think we will be looking at it more like a vacation with the perk of us just getting married....however it is good to hear that perspective for sure! Thanks again for your input!

Finished OOT Bags *pic heavy*

I will put the travel candles on the table at the wedding dinner along with placecards. I am going to be ordering personalized flipflops from partyflops.com..........they deliver them right to the resort so one less thing to cram in the suitcase. Check out the web site. Any suggestions for my small OOT bags would be appreciated......you are so creative. Dawn I have gone through the thread about what was used and what wasnt in people's OOT bags and I found alot of people liked having playing cards in their OOT bags for those rainy days. Aloe vera was another big one, not so much on the sunscreen as people brought theirs, but I still think its a good idea bc they might just run out. I think you have everything under control what I your saying you have already....good luck! -
Hi Amy, That too is our plan. We dont want to have to go thru the blood tests and all the fees associated with getting legally married in Mexico. I also wondered if it would take away from the wedding in mexico but Im okay with it now. I am going to totally down play the whole day and we will do it right before we leave to go to Mexico. I would rather save the $600+ US its going to cost us and put it towards my h,moon or something else. We arent telling anyone other then our witnesses of course to avoid exactly what happened to you and to keep the parents happy. I think its easier this way and there will be no waiting for a marriage cert. We will always make the date we got married in Mexico our anniversary not the date we got married in Canada. Plus by doing a symbolic wedding instead of a legal one, we can get an english ceremony and not a spanish one with a translator. THat was my other big beef with a legal wedding. I want to hear ceremony first hand, not from an interpreter. Hope that helps....

I too am a hygienist and I recommend to my patients to start using sensodyne toothpaste atleast two weeks prior to having the ZOOM done. I also recommend the ORal B fluoride rinse 2 weeks prior to the appointment as they both help with the sensitivity. I had the zoom done myself and although it didnt bother me the first day, I did find I had some sensitivity the following day for a few hours. If you do have some sensitivity the most it will last is about 24 hours. Both the zoom and the trays give the same result, just in different time periods and with different prices. Its all based on lifestyle really. If you have the time to do the trays and you dont mind dealing with the "goop" as my patients call it, then do the trays. However if you are like most people, and dont have the time or just dont want to wait two weeks for results, then the zoom might be a better option for you. Both options have a "regressing phase" where you will regress a up to a 1/2 shade, so a touch up about 2 weeks down the road is not a bad idea with the trays the dental office provides you. Just remember that if you have any fillings or crown/bridge work, the zoom and take home tray systems will not change the colour of your restorations. So you will need to have those restorations replaced to match the newly bleached teeth. On the bright side, you now have a great guide for when you might need to touch your teeth up, bc once your brand new restoration is whiter then your teeth, you'll know its time to do a touch up. Unlike some of us, who dont have restorations on our front teeth and we probably should touch up but we dont see the need for it bc its not staring us blankly in the face everyday.( totally me - I should really get my trays back in...lol) If you are thinking of having this done, the best bet is too get a consult with your Dentist / hygienist (usually they are free - atleast here they are) to see if you are a candidate for the ZOOM or the take home system. Good luck to the ladies that are getting the treatment done.....and happy whitening!!!

The MediLyte is an electrolyte replenishment similar to what Gatorade does for you, just in pill form not drink form. Asking $8 for the Advil (0.26 cents per pack), $8 for the Immodium (0.44 cents per pack) and $5 for the MediLyte (0.17 cents per pack). This was just the price of the packages and doesn't include any part of the shipping or duties that I paid for the whole order. Let me know if you want these for OOT bags!!!! PMing you about the immodium - would love to take it off your hands! Thanks!

I love your email Finz! I am going to possibly talk with Stamparama if I need some help getting the fraud moving alittle faster. The RCMP here are a little slow, but they assure me everything will come together by the end of the week. WIsh we had better news! -

Went to Ethos, but sorry to say.......the worst service ever (sales assts were stealing dresses from each other and arguing in front of us....it was a mad house). I bought my dress at S2 Bridal on 11th ave (Sonia's Bridal 2nd store) and can't say enough positives about the help that I received. Ava was great...very professional yet fun and relaxed. My dress is a Pronovias and they had a lot of knowledge about the dresses in their store. Does anyone have shoe store suggestions?? I love shoes and would like to treat myself to something special for the wedding!! Hey TeNiel! So sorry you had a bd time with Ethos. I know some of the ladies there can be unhelpful at times and even overbearing. I wish you would have met Betty. I went to SB off of Edmonton trail and although they were very friendly there, I found it frustrating that all the dresses were in a size 10 or less. That means you have to be a street size of 0 to 6!!!! Good grief!! The last majority of women are not that size. Average size of calgarians is actually 10/12 street size. So although I loved the dessey dresses there, I went somewhere else bc I could envision them on me only half done up. Im only a 12 and I couldnt get them to fit! lol I havent gone the shoe route yet, but Nine west had a sale on a day or so ago. Maybe check them out. I think Im going barefoot so other then white flip flops, I think Im okay.

I wish I could get some of the deals our friends down south get sometimes, but in the end Im happy with my choice and the price. Hope that helps!

Way to go TK - they look great - Im sure your guests will love them. -
They look great Timberly!! We are doing the same thing with a bit of a spin on it. We decided that we would get the postcards as well, and put return address lables on them for our address. Then people can send us postcards about how they are enjoying their trip...it will be nice to receive them once we get back. This way we can look back at the postcards in a few years and really see how much fun everyone had at our wedding. I will also be putting extra ones in there so that they can send out to family and friends if they like. I am holding off on doing anything right now as Im not too sure of our date yet.....but I have my template saved at vistaprint. I dont know how they make their money either!! I love vistaprint - have used them for so many things already and have had no problems whatsoever!! Love the idea......however Im a little biast....hehe

Well hopefully "stamp" and "finz" get better results then me. I wont ever see my money again, but I am in the process of charging her with fraud and the theft under 5K. Its a slow process with the RCMP, but it will follow her around until she takes care of it. I hope she speeds one of these days and they see the charge.... Ugh this is so not me! I hate being like this.... I really hope something comes of this for both of you!!
