my wedding is in a couple weeks at a different resort...but i heard from other people that the meeting with the WC is literally only 15 mins! they do it soooo often they can whip it up in no time. i wouldn't worry at all. but to be safe, give the WC a call and confirm with her...I'm sure she'll say, No Problem! i called my WC and asked her how lont the meeting was because I thought it'd be 2-3 hours...she said 20 mins at the most. and we can do a rehearsal whenever we want! so don't worry!

Oh and another to do! Post my Planning Thread! are you girls posting yours? i have mine saved in word and just need to figure out how to post it! hahah (ok this is my last post! for now...3 in a row is enough! lol)

Baj, just a few more sleeps!!! 11 more for me until we leave and 2 weeks tomorrow until I'm a MRS!!! So i went to get my w band on friday cause it finally came in...it's to big!! as in to tall! it raises higher than my e ring so they have to get it remade. doh! but my guy is going to make me a plain gold band for free for my troubles. i'm pretty happy as it was my back up plan and i like it! so i'll have a plain gold band i can keep and wear forever and then my eternity band i'll get after and then maybe FI and i can go for dinner or do something special and I'll let him put it on my finger. Glad the suits are in Baj!! Love, did your arrive today, how are they?! so exciting eh! I'm still waiting for my garter, should be this week! Alterations....expensive!! $260 cash for a teeny tiny hem, which i should have done myself after watching her do it and then i need it taken in around the boobs and chest. not much needed to be done but a lot of moola i thought i pick up my dress on wednesday! hopefully it's good! So now we are so close what do you girls have left to do? here is my list... Finish the CDs and put them in the bags. Wait for the Groomsman iron ons to arrive in the mail (ordered them before i knew i could DIY soooo easiliy and cheap!) Find some earrings...changed my mind about my something old (cameo, not going to wear it anymore, happy!!) Pick up my dress Courier out a couple of the welcome bags to people who arrive on different days than us. PACK!! yay!!!!!!! Next week I'm off to Jamaica!! Baj this week YOU ARE!!!!!

Hey Steph, yes she told me the same thing. i think it's a bit of a hike to the bar. if you look at pics of the gazebo it's a little ways. But to me it's worth it, if people are walking to the bar all the time they won't be at the dance, they'll get distracted and start chatting with other people.

Wow Maybe i should have read this before booking my DW because i thought they were CHEAP! I was starting to freak at how much mine has been costing but seems like everyone is in the same price range. our original buget was 15k, but i didn't want to go over 10k. and we did. Thanks for sharing! The wedding itself was cheap, but all the extras, outfits, rings, the trip, etc was what adds up!

Oh and Christina I just noticed you're getting married at the Grand Palladium! I was just there in April for my good friends wedding...which is actually when we got engaged! we took off to Cozumel our last day there and he proposed in the surf! So if you have any questions about the resort or anything let me know, i might be of some assistance, but i'm sure you get TONS of info on here anyway

If you're getting stressed, def make yourself a detailed To Do list, and prioritize everything. That helped me a little My To Do List: Finish up last few shirts for the OOT bags Make Labels for CDs that FI is making (just dropped that one on me yesterday! lol) get my dress altered, going tomorrow! Have my great grandma's cameo necklace lengthened (my something old) Figure out music for DJ to play or just put a few songs on ipod for first dance, etc. Find out when TA is sending out plane tickets Get MAC makeup consultation to learn my own wedding make up. Format and print stuff for our amazing race challenge we've organized for our group. PACK!! hehehe we leave in 2 1/2 weeks!! yay!

Oh Precious, sorry to hear the bad news...but glad it worked out in the end. we just need to remember to breath and things will work out! i keep reminding myself that when it comes to the rings! Borrowed - My MOH's is borrowing me her gma (who is my moms moms's sister) bracelet New - My dad is buying me earrings, so i'm going to wear those. I'm almost finished my OOT bags...but ran out of ink for the iron ons for the shirts, so just need to finish those. I'm finally done the welcome letters which were sooo much work but so worth it! Ya I booked our spa appointments. I want to be ready a couple hours before the ceremony though. My ceremony is at 3:30 and I requested to be done around 1:30 so I'll prob start at noon and go for the 2nd round of appointments. But if you contact the spa they will guide you to what time you should start if you know what time you want to be finished. All depends on what you want done exactly to your hair and stuff.

Julia, you should call Beverly and ask her if you can get the Free Package...I called and talked to the other WC there yesterday (DeshonJay) and i got the feeling that they don't care who gets what package...you get all the basic stuff except minister fees which is $400 and works out way cheaper than blissful, especially if you only have 16 people! and i found out that is why i haven't had to put a deposit down, because mine is "free" so i pay when i get there. I would absolutely not feel bad about getting your moms flowers and not everyone else. you should make your moms feel special cause it's their little girls/boys day! they would love it! i'm getting our moms a silk fan for the ceremony and no one else. I'm not sure how the girl got it free, i'm hoping when we get there we can squeeze so free things in there?! eek! Hi Virtuous! I didn't know about that $60/100 package! now that i know they have tikki torches i'm going ot have to inquire about that! sounds awesome!! Since i didn't know about this, i'm sure i don't know if they do custom pkgs or not. sorry! I'm not doing a private reception, just dinner in the rest (one of them has a private-ish room) an then our dance for 2 hours at the gazebo which is private! I've learned that since i don't get email responses anymore, so annoying!, that calling them works just as well and you can ask either of them questions and their responses are usually No Problem! hehe so cute!

I wanted to do a funny dancy song, but we have all night for that fun dancy stuff...so i let FI pick and he chose, I Will Stay With You by...JohnMayer maybe? It's lovely and i love that he heard of it and thought of us. I wanted Chasing cars by snow patrol...the weekend i met him was on a girls trip and we would blast that song and my cousin said, i lvoe this song it makes me think of my dream man! so we had a cheesy moment everytime that song came on and us girls would think about our dream man...little did i know that i would meet mine that same weekend!

I say who cares and do whatever!! I couldn't decide what to have for my BMs either. But i'm getting steel drums now for my music so i'm just going to have them play romantic but fun calipso music for the girls and Pachbel for me! loooove it on steel drums! I'd like to know what others do!

LoveIs...I almost used that same template! Yours looks so great!! i love the bars and activities and stuff you included I ended up changing it so i have 2 pages per page instead of 4. I printed all of my welcome letters today at work...i love having a boring job at the moment! tonight i'm going to hole punch them and pin them together with the Fishy pins i have found. You work out classes sound sooooo fun! my gym has one of those like once a month but haven't made it to one yet. good idea to learn some moves before the wedding! Moody, good job on the Ring! we are going to try and return FIs ring tomorrow...we had it custom made, but it looks like crap! from a distance it's sooo nice, but when you really look at it, the workmanship is terrible! But the good news is, yesterday my jewelr found a guy to make my ring and guarantees it for March 1st, but i have a back up plan if it's not done, or it's crap like FIs...I wouldn't go through with getting mine made, but it's a different person making it. I know what you mean about feeling naked without your ring...i've been ringless for 4 weeks now!! sucks! i'm wearing a stretch "diamond" toe ring on my finger..kind of looks like my wedding band so it works, but i miss my pretty ring! I ordered my garter yesterday off ebay! I wanted to get one made the jamaican flag colors, but they looked kind of stupid when i saw one made. so i went with Black and Turquiose which i hope will match my blue-ish undies for my wedding!
