Brookedanielle- sorry it took so long to get back to you! I havent been keeping up with the forum because it occurred to me my wedding is in 8 months and I have nothing done! LOL Our AHR is on 10.15.10. Im originally from North Greenbush but FI moved to Harmony Mills. Were moving back over that way after the wedding but I like the lofts over her. It is crazy what a small world! My cousin had her wedding at Michaels and it was stunning, absolutley gorgeous. Good luck with everything!

BrookeDanielle, Your from cohoes? So am I! Where in St Thomas are you getting married? My fiance and I were just there!Were is your AHR? Ours is at 11 North Pearl in Albany Thats a good idea about the invitations. well probably do something like that to b/c everyone invited to our DW is invited to our AHR

were also having a a formal AHR. At first I was really excited but now its just becoming more of a pain. We have about 50 coming to the destination wedding weekend 10/10/10 and then that friday 10/15/10 is the formal ahr back home with about 200 guest. It just seems like the two receptions are starting to mirror each other. its getting confusing!! plus i have no idea on what to do about invitations? any sugestions?

Well my FI and I booked Rosalina Torres I am THE WORST at making decisions, but when it came down to it, even after a few phone convos I felt we really meshed well. So far so good. I haven't decided on a hotel or cermony, reception venue yet b/c there is so much to choose from. Any suggrstions? My mom and I are going to PR in 2 weeks to scope out venues/hotels and i know rosalina is setting up some appointments for me.

The prices for the marriot receptions are crazy!!!! I've heard really good things about Havana Blue Restauraunt which is on the Marriot but privatley owned. I have hard that you can walk there from the wedding gazebo at Marriot. I went on their website HAVANA BLUE - Passion - HavanaBlue story and their prices are reasonable. I know my fiance and I are planning a St Thomas wedding for October 2010. We are going down this december and staying at the marriot so i figured we would have the reception there but the prices are crazy!!! Its more expensive the my venue at home were Im having at reception when we get back!

Hey everyone! I am so happy and relieved to have found this forum! Where are you from : Albany, NY Where are you getting married in St. Thomas: Not Sure Yet!!!!!! I love the Ritz Carleton Venues, but its so pricey, we're also considering the Marriot. I would really love to rent a Villa though and have it catered! We'll be hosting around 70 peoples so we definitley need the room! Does anyone have any sugesstions?? I know there are only a few villas that allow party's over 50 guest!! When are you getting married: 10/10/10 who is you WC : Don't have one yet. I've talked to a few but haven't made any decisions! We're going to St Thomas for a week in December but I would really like to have the venue booked by then. Any ideas or suggestions are great! So glad to have gound this!!!
