Hi,
I am selling my wedding bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets, centerpieces and groom boutonniere. These items have NEVER been used and just arrived in the mail today. I have decided to purchase real flowers from my resort instead. I paid $700 for all of the flowers combined and am asking $400. I have 7 bridesmaid bouquets, 1 bridal bouquet, 5 centerpieces and 1 boutonniere.
The flowers consist of natural touch and specialty white peonies, orchids, and calla lilies. The centerpieces have white peonies, calla lilies and tropical orange/papaya orchids.
Please message me with any inquiries.
Thanks!

Does anyone know if you need to bring an electrical converter (I think that is what it is called) for your blow dryer and flat iron?? I want to give my guests a heads up if so, but hadn't thought about it till now.
Also, I have been looking at the weather. It looks like rain everyday for the next 10 days! Does anyone know if it rains alot in the DR? I am really concerned all of the sudden, my wedding is in less then 3 weeks. Thanks!

I have been worried about this also. Did anyone have problems traveling with their sand kit? I haven't gotten mine in the mail yet, but between the sand and the glass vases, it seems like a recipe for disaster. Also, I bought some dried rose petals for my flower girl and then realized I may not be able to bring them with me... Did anyone bring dried flower petals and have them taken?
Thanks ladies!

Hi,
I make jewelry and can make you some swarovski crystal starfish earrings for $15. The necklace however is a bit more expensive because you will want a larger starfish and I only use sterling silver for my necklaces so that it is top quality and will not turn funny colors. I could make the necklace from 30 - 35 depending the type of clasp you would be interested in (really simple to fancy).
IM if you are interested and I can order the supplies and send you an image! What a cute idea! I am making my girls jewelry, but I never thought of starfish necklaces. I am sure no matter what you do they will look great!

Congratulations and welcome to BDW forum! You will find pretty much EVERYTHING you need to know about your destination and everything along the way here. It has been my coordinator I guess you could say during my wedding process. You will LOVE it!
Again, best of luck in your planning and congrats!

I actually bought my flowers from this site as well. The only thing I would be sure of is to make sure you get real touch and not any of the "specialty" flowers if you want them to look real. I ordered all real touch, but somehow ended up getting some specialty in my centerpieces and had to send them back. Also, they put some filler in the bouquet that looked very unreal (super shiny and plastic looking). Overall, I think they did a great job with putting the flowers together, but I would just be leary of which flowers you get.
They told me that the orchids, calla lilies and some of their lilies are made out of foam/latex, which in my opinion looks the best and most real. Something to keep in mind when ordering. I had peonies and I didn't feel they looked and felt real even though they were "real touch". They are taking them back however, which was really nice and adding some "real" looking flowers such as orchids and calla lilies, to make the whole set look better. I think this will help TONS. I will post pictures once they are done. I think everything will turn out fine in the end, just a lesson learned.
Also, one last suggestion, I wish I would have ordered one of their bouquets they have featured in their showcase so that I knew exactly what I was getting. Anyways, these are all just my opinions/experience and I wanted to share.
Again, they have been really nice in taking the flowers back and making adjustments to them, so that is a huge plus. I realized, what looks great in a photo, looks totally different when you get it in person. Keep your fingers crossed they look great the second time around. I am pretty nervous still.
Good luck ladies!

I am with everyone on this... It was a nightmare finding a dress since I am so small. I am 5'2" and 104 so I am still bigger then a lot of you, so I could only imagine your pain. And then, I ended up buying a dress from a bride who canceled her wedding in a size 2. Holy cow, not sure that was the best idea! Over $500 in alterations so far to get it down to my size.
Where has everyone been going for their honeymoon attire? Sometimes I feel like everything I try on looks frumpy since I am so tiny. I have really come to like Ann Taylor Loft (some of their clothes go all the way down to a petite xxs or 00 petite!), BR petites or Jcrew petites.
Any great shops you have heard of and LIKE for petite girls on the honeymoon outfit front is much appreciated!!!

Brand New Natural Touch Bouquets and Centerpieces for Sale!
in Buy / Sell / Trade Archives
Posted
Hi Everyone,
So just to be on the safe side I have decided to bring the bridal bouquets with me to my destination this week. I am not sure if I am going to use them or not, but either way they will be up for sale when I return (I will be home May 25). I bought additional real touch flowers to add to the bouquets and they are fantastic! I love them so much that I was worried that I wouldn't like my real flowers now as much.
So anyways, still let me know if you are interested and I will sell upon my return either way. The centerpieces are available for immediate purchase still (I will not be bringing those with me). I will sell the 5 of those for $100 total. These are made up of white calla lilies, white peonies and orange papaya orchids. They are approximately 8" tall and 8" wide at the top.
Email me with questions!
Thanks!
