Hi NewYorkie! The beach reception seemed pretty cool, even though we watched from afar. No one hangs out on that beach after it gets dark, so it seemed like the reception was a little more private than if it had been elsewhere. I think you'll love it! And planning is moving along. We sent in the wedding request for like a week and a half ago and haven't heard anything! So frustrating! But anyways, I found some more pictures of the room. We stayed in the least expensive rooms, and I still thought they were awesome. I'm not exactly a hotel expert though! Balcony off our room and the view.

Definitely do it! I'm obsessed with blue, so there is blue embroidery all over my dress. I think the pink version is gorgeous!

I heard it's good luck to put a penny in your shoe. If it's an old penny, you could include it as 'something old,' too! I'm not sure if I'll have anywhere to put a penny though, as I'll be wearing flip flops!
