Robbiemoe - I would love to see pictures of that set up if you have them. We are getting married there on March 9, 2011 and are pretty much set for a ceremony right down on the sand but I am also sort of interested in the beach gazebo as it will provide some shade from the hot sun.

Hey there, Just wanted to set your mind at ease. We are getting married at the Iberostar Varadero on March 9, 2011 and if you have the ceremony out on the sand your guests will have chairs. This was VERY important to us as well so I made sure to ask Belkis and she assured me that there will be chairs. Hopefully this helps!

I totally agree it is such a hard decision as they are all wonderful resorts! We also had the Paradisus Varadero as one of our options but to travel from where we are it was about $500 extra per person not including taxes so that made our decision easy I guess...although it is a GORGEOUS looking resort! Well, good luck! If you have any questions about the Iberostar Varadero I can try to answer them as we are booked and have had a lot of contact with the wedding coordinator there already!

What resorts are you trying to decide between right now? We took forever to decide because I have a hard time making big decisions...lol...Have you ever been to Cuba before?

I am very new to this forum, although I signed up quite a while ago...and I just have to say, all of your postings are so helpful!!! My fiance and I are getting married at the Iberostar Varadero on March 9, 2011 and one of my biggest worries is what we will do for a photographer as pictures are really the only thing you get to remind you of your special day. Hi all! I am new to the forum. My fiance and I got engaged December 21 (the longest day of the year) and we are set to be married March 9, 2011 in Varadero Cuba at the Iberostar Varadero!

Just wondering if there is anyone getting married or has been married at the Iberostar Varadero and if so what they are doing or did for a photographer? We are getting married March 9, 2011 and I don't know if we should bring someone down with us or trust the hotel photgrapher...I need HELP please!!!
