Just got back from my trip and OMG, these two places are well recommended for either wedding or honeymoon! And find one also that may already have a wedding there during that time. Like what we did for one client...we gave them a great deal because we already have a wedding in the Maya Riviera area the week before. so it was just matter of extending our week. Let me know if you need some suggestions too on what to ask and expect from the photographer for that budget.

I shot a destination wedding one time and they used fake starfish for the guys' Boutineers and part of the decor on the bridesmaid bouquet. i can send you photos of them if you want. i can ask the bride where she got them. Hey, BTW we will be in Maui to shoot a wedding in August...it's going to be fun!

Have fun in Hawaii...we will be in Maui this August shooting a wedding. We are so excited and there's just so much areas there to do some spectacular shoot. We found this area in Maui that has a cave where we can do a "trash the dress". make sure you guys do that too, it will be fun!

You should check out Aruba or the Dominican Republic....they give you a good deal with their packages. These places are also picture perfect...we had lots of fun shooting there.

Just like Dmitri, I usually ask for 2 weeks final payment before the wedding. But sometimes at the couple's request, I can be a little flexible if they want to give it to me when we show up at the destination wedding a day before the event.

when we got married 7 years ago, my wife and I bought her dress at Davids Bridal under this SALE EVENT- David's Bridal - Bridal Gown Sale it was worth it.... good luck!

there's also some inexpensive ways to have a logo be created for you...i always refer my clients to ifreelance.com to get bids for logos for their weddings. lot sof creative people out there.
