  1. We are doing stadium cups too! My FI asked for them as well. They will be really handy!
  2. Nice! I am so excited to see our stadium cups! I know our guests will get great use out of them! Thanks for sharing!
  3. Cute idea and very creative! We are doing something similiar. We have been collecting postcards from various places we have visited and will be having our guests fill out a postcard and then have it bound into a book. A nice memory! Good Job!

I saw the DIY way and that seems like a lot of work to me, I will go that route if I have too...but I'd like to see if I can find them pre-made. I am looking for Bride, Bridesmaid, Flowergirl, Mother of the Bride and Mother of the groom ones, if you can help me that would be fabulous. I am ordering mine from e-bay... they have a package of them. Check it out!! PICK ANY 5 Iron-On RHINESTONE TRANSFERS Wedding Bride - eBay (item 220356058303 end time Oct-02-09 01:11:01 PDT) Not a bad price either!! ~ Erica
  5. I went to etsy.com and found this... Starfish Wedding Guestbook by OliveArt on Etsy[]=tags&includes[]=title It may either give you an idea of what you are looking for or maybe you can find an already made one on here. Good Luck!
  6. WEAR THE DRESS!!! It's gorgeous!!! You will be a beautiful bride!
  7. Exactly! We are leaning towards getting nice straw totes for $8 each but hope everyone will use them again. We are only giving out bags one to a room. That's why we opted for the stadium cups.. they are cheaper and they can be used for a variety of things. Even their kids can use them when they get home. We have some stadium cups that we got from the bars in Key West. We still use them after 4 years! Good Luck!
  8. I think the stadium cups are more practical and more reasonably priced too! Not to mention they will stack inside eachother which saves you lots of room in your suitcase! We ordered orange and yellow stadium cups with our logo in black!
  9. I will keep my fingers crossed for you! I hope everything works out! Keep your head up! ~ Erica
  10. Hello! We are also having two seperate receptions - one in Mexico (where we are getting married) and one in our home state (Michigan). The idea we had for a guest book is a Postcard Guest Book. We have been collecting postcards from every where we have travelled as a couple and at the receptions we will have our guests fill out one postcard each and put a message to us on there or anything they want to add to it. After both receptions are done, we will take all the postcards and have them bound into a book! We think it will be a great memory to have sitting on our bookcase! Good Luck! ~ Erica
  11. Stadium cups are the way to go! Check out this website, it looks like their minimum order quantity is 100 though. Not sure if that is too many or not. We ordered the 16 oz. cups. Personalized Plastic Stadium Cups from Stadium Cups . com Good Luck!
  12. I love your logo! It reminds me of mine. We are using our logo on most of our paper stuff (std's/invitations/thank-you's/welcome letter/luggage tags etc.) You could just always stick with your color themes if you aren't sure if you want to do your logo. But I definitely think your logo has a mexican twist to it! Go with it!!!
  13. Hi! We are doing stadium cups. We figured they are lighter and people will get more use out of them. Not to mention you can find them really cheap! Good Luck! ~ Erica
  14. We are staying at the Catalonia Riviera Maya and they have outside vendor fees but all the photogs I've contacted said they would just stay at the resort the night before the wedding. First of all if they stay at your resort, you will be rest assured they will not be late that next morning. Secondly, if your resort charges $200-$300 for an outside vendor fee it's a lot cheaper to pay for one night stay. Good Luck!! ~ Erica
  15. What a great idea! We are definitely going to include them in our travel brochure! Thanks for sharing!!
  16. Wow! These are a great find! Saves lots of money and looks like a fun project!!! Thanks so much for sharing!!! ~ Erica
  17. Great website! I was on ebay tonight and found these straw totes. They are on the smaller side but would work well. Enjoy! WHOLESALE RESELL LOT STRAW HANDBAG PURSE BAG TOTE 72 ct - eBay (item 390091911745 end time Oct-08-09 19:05:18 PDT) ~ Erica
  18. Great point! I figured the mothers would eat it up but the fathers maybe not so much!
  19. Very Cool! Just think of all the space we'll have on our return flights since our guests will be more loaded down! Hee-hee!
  20. Lisa, I just found this post today and I am so excited for you! That is great that you are having your aunt make it for you! What talent she has! Congrats on the weight loss too! I'm also trying to shed some pounds before the big day! I am also having my wedding dress custom made. But, since I live in China (Home to mostly ALL wedding dresses) I was able to show the wedding dress tailor pictures of mine (Bonny dress) and she is making it for me! I go for my first fitting in 2weeks! I can hardly wait!! I love seeing the progress on your dress! I bet it has been fun being involved in the "making" of it. You will be a beautiful bride no doubt!!!! Keep us all updated... this is very exciting! ~ Erica
  21. Hello... Do you still have the BM bouquets left? I might be interested. Let me know, thanks! ~ Erica
  22. Not too bad for flower prices. Are your parents and siblings wearing flowers? I'm still trying to decide where to stop when it comes to flowers. Of course the wedding party will have them but I think I want our parents and my siblings to have them too! What is everyone doing? * GOOD NEWS: I am having my dress made as we speak!!! I'm so excited!! Since I live in China, I brought pictures to a wedding dress shop and they are making it for me. It's a Bonny dress, it was $350 in the U.S. and I'm only paying $70 here in China! I hope it turns out okay! I'll keep you posted! ~ Erica

She married 5 years ago and had a nice ceremony at home. I really think it has to do more with a "controlling" husband than her not really wanting to be there. But tonight she texted me again and pretty much let me have it for having a wedding away from home where more of my family would not be able to attend. Pretty much called me selfish for having a destination wedding and forcing her to choose between me and her husband!!!!! I didn't want this to come between us, but I'm not the one forcing her to choose! I simply want her there and am willing to pay for her to be there !!! I feel like if it was so important for her, as she told me it was originally, then she would accept the offer, no questions asked!!!! So,I guess I'll just keep planning... and try to not let it get me down... and like you said, maybe she'll turn around. I really feel for you because I went through the same thing! It's really hard to enjoy your engagement and wedding planning when a wrench has been thrown into the situation. She is your only sister! Wow, what do you think her husband has an issue with? Staying in a room by herself? Why wouldn't he come too? Even if they just came for a few days? We have some guests only staying for 3-4 days. The most important day is our wedding day so as long as our family/guests are there for that we are okay with that. Sisterly love is very deep. I think she will have a change of heart but it may take some time. It sounds like she is really bitter right now. How long has she known you were having a DW? Have you thought about writing her a letter telling her how much it would mean to have you there. I did the same thing for my little sister b/c she is my MOH too. It made a world of difference!!! Stay focused on the exciting parts of wedding planning and please keep us posted... we will be your support system for sure!!! Take Care!! ~ Erica
