When I flew in August, there were signs all over stating you couldn't bring lighters or matches on the flight (carry on or checked luggage). You might want to check with your airlines before you fly. It would be terrible if you had to leave them at the airport! Good Luck!!

Well, both of my bridesmaids are family so they were coming to our wedding anyways! So I lucked out. But I did pay for my MOH's dress! She is my 21 year old sister who is a full time nursing student. She is very tight on money. I thought it was only fair. So if you don't want to pay for their dress, I think it would be okay to offer to pay for their hair & shoes. You are right when you say BM's spend alot of money on your special day! Just remember to pick a BM dress that they can wear again. I picked jcrew strapless dresses that they can wear again and again! Good Luck!

Hello girls! I have a few questions... I am buying my BM's jewelry for them. I haven't told them yet but I know it is usually expected from the bride. I'm fine with it and am very excited to get it for them! 1. When is the proper time to give it to them? 2. Should I tell them ahead of time so they don't buy some? 3. Do I still need to give them a gift for being in the wedding or is this sufficient enough? I don't want to be cheap but I just want to know what is proper. Need your opinions, thanks! ~ Erica
