Hello to all the beautiful Dreams La Romana Brides! I am hoping to book my wedding date for the first week of March 2012! My FI and I are going to check out the resort the last week of July, and will hopefully set the date and start planning! I read through all 242 pages and have learned so much! Thank you for all of your reviews, ideas, and advice! I am sure I will not be disappointed after seeing the absolutely gorgeous pictures from your weddings! I am so excited to get planning! <3 Brittany

LDeeken- When are you planning on sending out your invites? I am just curious, since our weddings are so close together. I think we have about 20 booked so far, so I am about even with you. I only estimated about 35 people, so I am happy with 20 at 5 months to go! I am also a teacher, so I completely understand how you feel. The semester should fly by with all the excitement though! Finley- I love your invites. 51 booked that is amazing! Is your wedding shower coming up soon? Planning updates: We actually ended up going with D.J. Bob. I heard from a previous Iberostar Bride that he made her wedding. I think I am having passport invites made by a lady who makes them out of her home. I should probably make my decision soon!

We are getting married in the US at the courthouse a couple weeks before. We don't want the stress of the blood test and all the documents when we get to Mexico. We made the mistake of telling my dad, and he did not like the idea at all. We decided to tell everyone we changed are minds and are now keeping it a secret. I didn't think it would be that big of a deal, but it was. As a lesson be careful of who you tell. I also like the idea of going to Vegas to get married!

I have not decided on my wedding favors yet. It would really help to know how many are going first. I have been searching for ideas though, and the wedding favor ideas thread has some great ideas!

Could anyone share the price range of Del Sol's picture packages? I am at a stand still with photographers. Pictures are important to me, but I did not realize how expensive they can be. Any Suggestions ladies?

Hello Everyone, I am also getting married at the Iberostar Lindo on June 12, 2010. We are staying there from the 10th-19th. I am excited to hear ideas and such from other brides. Has Lily contacted any of you besides the initial reservation of the date? I have e-mailed her, and she takes a while to get back. I know we are not supposed to do any planning until 3 months before, but I have questions I would like answered. I am getting excited!
