    My fiance actually wanted to be the photographer! Don't ask me how he thought he was pulling that off, but I told him there is no way. Your mom is such an important part of your wedding and she will realize (just like my fiance) that they need to be a part of everything that happens and not hidden behind a camera.

    Not sure if I am having a bridal shower, but in my head I planned on giving them their gifts at the welcome dinner we are having the first night everyone arrives.

    What a great thread! I have watched Y&R since 1986 when my grandmother had me watching it while she watched me when I had the chicken pox.....been watching ever since. I wasn't able to watch for a while because of work, but watch everyday now since I broke my shoulder and am on disability. My absolute favorite since the beginning is Paul. I have loved him since day one! Something funny actually, he sent me a birthday card last year. It was great! Enjoy the show this week. Glad this is on the site! Shannon

    Hi I know you are in Canada, but where did you get those bridesmaid dresses from? They are really nice and I love the color. I am in NY and I am not sure if where you got them is available here.

    We aren't paying for anyone but ourselves. I went to a destination wedding two years ago and we all paid for ourselves as guests. As with everyone else, we have given everyone a year and half to save, just like we have to.

    I already asked my maid of honor, matron of honor and bridemaid. My fiance hasn't even figured out who he wants to ask. To me, as long as the people I want to be in the party are in it, it doesn't matter if its even. My brother and his wife actually had at their wedding 4 bridemaids and 1 MOH and 1 bestman and 14 or so groomsmen. He couldn't decide who he could leave out and decided not to leave anyone out.

    I wouldn't want anyone trying on my ring. People can see it on my finger. Having nothing to do with superstitions, just the ring was given to me along with a promise and love and it doesn't belong on anyone elses hand except the one my fiance put it on.

    I was thinking of walking down to my parents wedding song, Annie's Song by John Denver. I originally was going to have them dance to the song at our reception, but my mom passed away this past August. I still want the song to be played and thought it would be perfect to walk down the aisle to.

    Hi everyone I fell down a flight of stairs in mid August and broke my shulder. As a result, I needed surgery and now have a huge (about 6") scar on my upper arm and shoulder. I was planning on wearing a tank top style dress so the scar will show. Did anyone or does anyone have anything they used to cover a scar or tattoos that worked? If so, can you pass on the name of the item. I really do not want this scar to show. Thanks so much Shannon

    Hi Your wedding pictures are beautiful! I have a question for you... How does it work when you take the free package they offer and you have a large # of guests? Is there a charge for extra people at the dinner? I am planning on having a beach ceremony and dinner at the restaurant and renting out the disco for 2 hrs after. Are there any extra charges because you had 28 people? I thought the free package said 10. Thanks so much. Shannon
