  9. Thanks so much. We have been tossing around either the royal or free as well. I believe we will have 30-33 people there so I just wasn't clear how it worked with the free package and more than 20. Thanks for the info!

  12. I only have in mind of planning a welcome dinner the first night everyone comes in and, if possible, a rehearsal. Everyone that is coming are on vacation. I want them to enjoy the pool, food, drinks and each other. Everyone that is coming knows someone else that will be there that they can spend time with. That was one thing I was a little worried about. What if one of my friends that doesnt have a boyfriend or girlfriend comes and doesnt know anyone else? It actually looks as if it will all balance out. Guess it does come down to is coming and what they are like.
  13. I agree that the dresses should be the same feel, but the material I don't feel matters. I am wearing my mothers dress and I have no idea what material the dress even is. Whatever you & the bridemaids like, that is what you should go with. It is your day!
  14. Hi Christina Congratulations and good luck with all your planning. Shannon
  15. #1 is definitely more for a beach wedding. It looks like she will just be so hot in #2.
  16. I actually was trying to figure out the same thing. We went to the Riu in Montego Bay last year and I liked the disco. A little small, but we are only having about 30 people. I figured we would do the disco for the wedding and I was worried in case it rained. Great thread to start.
  17. Definitely #1. It is actually exactly what I was looking for. Who is the designer?

  21. I am planning on having dinner after the ceremony and then renting out the disco at the resort from 9-11. I want a place to have our first dance & the father-daughter and mother-son dance. It was really important to us to have some time that we can play our music and have a little reception for everyone to come together. My fiance is making a CD of all the songs we specifically want played. Hopefully everyone will just hang around after and stay at the disco when it opens.
  22. Hi Max Congratulations on your engagement and good luck with all your plannning. Shannon

I had originally chosen the Royal package but once I decided to bring my own photographer, having photo's included in the package was not a priority. Also the other amenities such as spa services & an upgraded room were not necessary since we booked the suite. We saved money by bookint the free package & then added any decor/upgrades separately. As for the chairs, in pictures they look brown/wooden/wicker but they are plastic. They do not come with covers but you can rent them. Last year they were $10 per cover & that included the sashes. They may not be the same price this year so if you're interested you should ask Chandlyn. Also keep in mind that the same chairs used at your ceremony would be used at your reception as well. When you do the free package and you have more than 20 people, do they charge you extra for the dinner for the people above 20?
