    Gosh, I want to say that I read on here somewhere (or maybe in the materials they gave me....) that a $300 fee was waived if the photographers were "guests" and staying at the resort??? Or maybe it was just simply that the resort never knew. Sorry - I guess I am really not much help.

    Meggers - congrats! I know it costs a fee to use an outside vendor for your photography but did it also cost a fee to use Planner 1 as your wc? I have thought about using them but thought that the fees for Planner 1 as well as any fees that the resort charges you may make not make it worthwhile to go that route. Also, when we did our site visit, we were told that guests staying at the lower end hotels did not have to pay a day pass for your wedding day to attend the wedding and reception at the Palace but check to make sure that your contracts state that.

    Thanks. I will secretly feel out my bridesmaids on their thoughts (without them knowing!) and go from there.

    For those who have gotten married in the Barcelo gazebo, were there any issues walking through the lobby to get to the gazebo and was it very private? I love the gazebo but that was the only concern I had with the location.

    From what I am reading on here, it maybe worthwhile to give the measurements slightly larger than what you actually measure as it sounds as though most of these suits are coming back too small???

    Tweets your pictures are beautiful! You had a lovely wedding and you made a beautiful bride. The song "I Loved Her First" was a favorite of my dad's and it made him think of me and when he would walk me down the aisle. He died March 19th of this year so he won't be able to do that. I had been thinking about that song but could not remember the name of it. I am so grateful to have found that song. Thank you!

    These are beautiful and require more talent than I could ever have! I got roped into doing floral arrangements for a girlfriend's wedding years ago and I was lucky to get mine to look like an adult had arranged them rather than a 5 year old!

    It is tough to get started - especially when you don't even know where the starting point is located! Just connecting with a TA is a HUGE step in the right direction and will make your life so much easier! Good luck with your planning!

    Hi Shay - as everyone else has mentioned, you need to feel comfortable with your TA and that they are looking out for you and your guests. If you feel the slightest bit uncomfortable, then you have every right to see what else is out there. If you look on Ortbitz and Expedia, there are flights already available so I am not sure why your TA is dragging their feet on this.
