For the people invited they are allowed to bring a guest, that guest can't attend the wedding, but more than welcome to come and hang out at the resort. I figured they would be ok for a couple of hours or at least till the dancing starts at the reception.

I am using DestinationWeddings.com, and my TA is very good. She is very responsive to me and my guest needs. She got the best group rates, cause believe me, I did my own research to ensure we were getting good rates. I too believe it all depends on your TA.

I am using DW.com, and so far no issues with my TA. Prior to signing the contract I, to ensure I was getting the best rate, I too looked at several different travel sites for quotes on the rooms at the Resort I choose. So far the group rates I am getting are cheaper than any other agency I looked at. My TA has been very responsive to all my questions( and I ask a lot of questions). She has also responded with in 24 hours when my guest have emailed or called her for quotes. So I guess it does depend on the TA you get. Now that they have the new feature on the website for your guest to book travel there, that is great. Knock on wood, hopefully I won't run into any issues once my guest start booking their travel.

I am using them to for my wedding. So far I have had a great experience. MY TA responses instantly to my emails and calls. When my guest call or email for a room quote, she responds that day.
