Congrats... Happy Planning! I'm hoping to go to Cozumel for my honeymoon for the diving!

I wish there were more food options too! I will have a lot of picky eaters, 2 full vegetarians, 2 allergic to fish/seafood, 3 (including myself) who only eat fish/seafood for meat options. Has anyone looked into how much extra it would be to include more menu options per plate?

This thread it totally cracking me up!!! I was at a cute backyard wedding this summer. It was very low budget, but I felt like they did a really great job with the decorations and food for the amount of money they had. Anyway, it all went downhill when the groom when under the brides dress to get the garter, he lifted her dress a little too high and revealed a massive fire spitting dragon tattoo all down her left thigh. The grooms grandmother took a glimpse at it nearly had a heart attack, I actually thought she was going to fall out of her chair. Then the lovely couple choose a dark goth song for their first dance...classy! I kept hearing the grandmother ask "what is this.... is this music??" haha

Hey ladies.... quick question (sorry if this has been answered already) If you have any guests staying at The Real PDC... do they need to purchase a day pass for the wedding day? Have any of you discussed this with the wedding coordinators yet?

One of my girlfriends that was on my swim team had a lot of stretch marks on her thighs, she was very self conscious about it since we were in swim suits all day, every day . She used palmer's coco butter and it really helped to fade them quickly. Its crazy because she had spent hundreds of dollars on expensive lotions for years, and the palmer's coco butter is like $5 at a drug store and it worked the best! It smells really nice too!!

The highlights feels more beachy and summery to me...so that would be my choice! You're friends are right though, you look great with both. My hair is naturally a dark blonde...and I've always always always highlighted it with blonde streaks...so I will def stay blonde for my wedding... but i am considering making it more blonde and bright than my usual for the big day!

Hot pink, lime green and mango orange! Bright, fun and tropical! (until I change my mind again....)

Hey royal brides... I thought i should introduce myself -since i've been stalking this thread like crazy! I'm 99% sold on having a royal/gran porto wedding!! We would stay at the Royal and have the wedding there. Beach ceremony!! Not sure about the reception yet. I love the option of giving guests the choice of the less expensive gran porto resort too! Unfortunately, I'm a long way from setting a date...I'm hoping for April 2011 (however we may have to wait even longer, depending on FI's work! boo!) All your posts and reviews have been super helpful! I'm also excited to find out how the a la carte weddings will pan out!

Wow sounds awesome. Royal Playa Del Carmen is one of my first choices. I've been waiting to find out what their a la carte wedding packages will be like! Unfortunately I won't be available for the webinar but I hope some Royal Brides can take good notes and pass along the information!
