    I'm getting married at the Riu Palace Tropical Bay and I understand what you mean about getting scared after reading some negative reviews on tripadvisor! Those almost scared me off. But then I did more research into other resorts and well they all have negative reviews posted! So, now I basically just take every negative review with a grain of salt. And all of the reviews on here about the Riu resorts are amazing, so I'm sure if you decide to go with a Riu wedding, you'll be more than satisfied in the end!

    Congrats! I'm getting married at RPTB in May, 2010 and I'm so excited about it! Everyone I've talked to says that Negril is the most beautiful place on earth and that Riu resorts are absolutely amazing!

    Hi all, Obviously, I'm new here. I'm SO happy to have found this site - I've already seen so many helpful posts that will help a lot during the next 9 months leading up to my wedding! My fiance and I got engaged in December 2008, and are getting married at the Riu Palace Tropical Bay in Negril, Jamaica, in May 2010. Our trip is booked for May 21-28, 2010 but the exact wedding ceremony date is still TBD. If you are also getting married in Jamaica in 2010 or even soon, I'd love to hear from you!
