I am ordering 26. 13 in white (P 003) and the purple (P 033). One of my colours is purple but I thought I should have a neutral colour in there as well. I would love to order a bunch of them, but with Christmas and the wedding coming up in the next six months, I have to have some self control

We can order ASAP if you want. I don't leave until May 1, 2010 but it doesn't hurt to be proactive

Thanks for all the input. I did get another email from the WC and it helped me a little bit more than the previous email. I have been considering "real touch" flowers. I have gotten 2 samples from two seperate vendors. I have asked one of the vendors to send me another sample. Once I get that, then I think I will decide. Have any of you ladies used silk or "real touch" calla lilies. If so, do you have any pics you could post or send me to daniellewebster at gmail dot com. Thanks again guys! Cheers!

Good morning all... I have been trying to get in touch with my WC at the Majestic Colonial in regard to their flower options. Well, I did get some info, but it is not helpful at all. It is set up in a PowerPoint presentation with several bouquets and bouts that past brides have used. Not exactly what I was looking for. If any of you are getting married at the Majestic, do you have any info you could pass along about their flowers? Thank you soooo much!

I don't know if you are still looking for info or not, but I am in Calgary and getting married in Punta Cana in May. We are getting married in Calgary before to save money. We are having the ceremony at Majestic Colonial on may 12, 2010. There are about 10 of us going for 2 weeks and the 20 coming for 1 week. The prices from Alberta were 1500, plus taxes, and connector flights. So just under 2k (that price includes flight, connector, taxes, and the rooms at a 5 star all inclusive) It was only an extra 500 per person to go for another week so a few of us decided to go that way. We used weddingsbyoceans as our travel agent. Although, their business is in Ontario, they are excellent! The are very good with their follow up and always return my calls or emails the very same day. PM me if you want more details and stuff.... Good luck!

Thanks guys. Autjo - Chris refuses to wear a purple shirt, lol. I might be able to convince him to wear a purple tie, but he seems pretty adamant (sp?) about the shirt. I guess I have to let him have his way on a couple of things but those suits look awesome. Jess - we don't have an Express here in Canada but I will definitely look into it. Thanks again ladies!

Hey guys...I am trying to form a visual in my head and am having some difficutly. My dress is "Pearl" in colour and the BM will be wearing dark purple. The flowers are dark purple and light purple/cream calla lillies. I think I want the men to wear a grey suit or grey dress pants and a white or black shirt. I am having troubles finding pictures of this. The grey can be light or charcoal grey, and the shirts can be untucked or tucked. Does anyone have any pics? Thanks guys! Other suggestions are definitely welcomed and appreciated. Cheers!

I am in the same dilemma as you. I thought that my dress would be too fancy for a beach wedding as well. I opted not for taking the train off and I am just bustling it all night. I was afraid if I actually took the scissors to it that I would hate it and there is no going back. I say if you love the dress the way it is, then keep it! It's your day and you are only going to do this once. I think your dress is absolutely GORGEOUS the way it is! Just know that whatever you decide to do, you will be stunning! Good luck!

I am really considering "real touch" flowers for my wedding. I was wondering if the brides who have gone this route could post a pic of your bouquet or let me know where you got them from. Also, were they what you wanted? Did they honestly look "real"? Thanks!
