Yay I'm also an April 2010 bride...getting married on the 19th in Punta Cana Dominican Republic. My sister works at Cruise Ship Centers she she got us a great price of $1,147 taxes in pp at the Grand Paradise Bavaro. I'm so excited cause for every 8 people booked 1 person goes free so my fiance and I are definatly going free!! YAY! My sister sent out all the information for our wedding to the guests just last week so we already have 10 people booked. I'm still going to get formal invitations out probably next week for people to have. I have my dress my girls are wearing Mori Lee dresses style #791 in turquoise with the same coloured flip flops and the guys are wearing tan suits with turquoise dress shirts..with crisp all white pumas. Getting soo excited what else do I need to do...shop for our wedding bands and gifts for our wedding party..thinking necklaces inside real shell jewellery boxes and my favourite perfume (Viva La Juicy) for my girls and for the guys......thats up to my fiance..no idea! Anything else I'm forgetting let me know..Thanks girlys! Tammy

yaaa Michaels has cute ones and they are only like $30 very cute! I think I'm going to grab one from there...very plain with very small satin trimming on the edges. Probably just past elbow in legth..which is exactly what I want....Veils are sooo crazy expensive and they seem like the easiest and cheapest thing to make. Such a rip off! So ya I just decided I'm going to get that veil at Micheals tomorrow..Thanks LOL

When I checked them out in Waterdown they were $198....so not bad for my girls they are happy with that. I've seen them online for as low as $129 and as high as $239 so the price we are getting them for is middle of the road so thats great!

Wow your dress is gorgeous! I wouldn't change a thing...but that me. My dress has only a slight train but yours is soo nice and flowy I think that would be perfect for the beach and like the other ladies mentioned you can bustle it as well! I don't know if I would feel right cutting it off LOL Good Luck on your decision!

Hi Heather....just read your sad predicament..is there any way you can do the TTD really early before everything and then get ready with your ceremony dress after?? Don't know if you have the time...but you would probably want to shower and stuff after the TTD anyways so you might as well get all dolled up again for your wedding...just a suggestion..sorry hun!
