I'm still debating the fresh vs artifical flowers... I'm getting married in Fiji, who have amazing frangipanis (not right for my colour scheme) and beautiful orchids (which I am more then happy to use) but apart from that they are a little mixed in quality... Which is why I am considering artifical flowers... Ginaynl - I never even though ribbons! I'm such a wedding novice what a great suggestion!

Hi Ladies I sort of started the planning process backwards by buying BM dresses first (I saw them and fell in love with the!) They are brightly coloured Maxi dresses (I will post a picture when my camera cable decides to work!) and have loads and loads of colours mainly purples, teals and blues, but also green, white and yellow. Thinking that I could just pic from the variety of colours in the dress as theme colours - I thought I would be fine! So I want to do Teal, Plum, Lavender with Ivory as the colours - but I am stuck about flowers then! There are heaps of choices in Plum, Lavender and Ivory - but what am I going to do with Teal?? Does anyone know of Teal flowers? Any advice or opinions would be a massive help!

I hadn't even heard of it before BDW, and I am having the exact same internal debate that the moment. The photos look totally amazing - with the couples in them. But I am plus size, and it is going to be hard enough to convince my rubgy-league-playing, shy, one-of-the-boys FI to do wedding photos let alone another session the next day, let alone another session the next day when we are supposed to be a sexy beach couple! Yeal - I love your TTD photos, they are so classy and beautiful shots of the two of you.

Oh! I want to do a TTD session so badly after seeing all of these photos... I'm so inspired!! I am slightly worried about being dissapointed with the end result tho, as we are not exactly a sexy couple Looks like I'll be in the gym for the next 12months!!!! I know! I have been so jealous of everyones monograms ever since I joined. I am getting ideas of all the things I like, but am a couple of steps ahead of myself as I really need to think about the colours of the wedding first! Anyway, I am getting a friend of mine who is very creative to do one up - Its a special was to include her in the wedding, and given that she is a student, will also be her wedding present to us

I think it depends on your dress. If I end up with a big princess dress then the groomsmen will probably be in long sleeve shirts and vests (still formal but not as hot as a suit jacket). If I get a more destination type dress (which is what I'm leaning towards), then short sleeves all the way.

Using the passport template is such a good idea! I love the passport invites - they are too cute, but already have my heart set on another invite design, now I can do both! (add another thing to the DIY list ! )

are you getting there early? You could always give the bags to the hotel to give to guests staying there with check-in. Not sure I would be able to rely in the hotels to remember - but if you make sure your guests ask for their welcome pack when checking-in? Not a great suggestion if people are staying in 10 different hotels, but would be OK if it is just 3-4 of them...

They are awesome! I think im going to have to fly to the the US! The saving son this stuff alone will pay for the airfare!!
