  1. I've hardly started the planning process and I've had so many freak outs already! I have taped a picture of my FI and I being loved up to my laptop to try and remind myself why I am doing all this
  2. I dont think you are being unreasonable. I had family and friends dissapointed about us having a desination wedding - but at the end of the day, the wedding is about you and your FI,if other people are there to share it - thats fantatic, but at the end of the day, when you choose a DW you have to be OK if its just the too of you... I think she has probably done you a favour backing out if thats going to be her attitude. I dont know her or you or your history, but if she is being that difficult for her best firend, i get the feeling there is something else going on. Could she be jealous?
  3. Travel insurance is definately definately worth it. But shop around coz you can get quotes that very massively. In 2006 I went snowboarding in Franc - I had really cheap travel insurance that really only covered the basics - but thank god I did - I fell awkwardly in my class and broke my wrist - after the snow ambulance, emergency medical, emergency cast, transfer to hospital, xrays, flying in my anasteiologist and surgoen (my wristbroke right through and he bones and moved) follow up and 2 nights in holidays my total bill was $84,000euros!!! my travel insurance covered the lot, and follow up physio appointments, and the change to my travel plans. i am recommending that my guests my age check out world nomads- they cover more adventerous activities and have great reviews - and are pretty cheap to boot!

  22. I did my inspiration board this morning - its helped me so much in getting a vision for everything! I started by looking on theperfectpalette.blogspot.com for some inspiration, and once I had the colours I loved I made my own buy 'google image'ing the colours and picking pictures I Looooved. Its a start in terms of planning anyway
