  1. Will do (I might need a truck to carry all the things)...thanks again Renee! Excited to see you ladies again! Consider this my RSVP!
  2. Hooray! Looks like the 11th works for a lot of us...anyone else?
  3. Like Fireworks? (I rescued this Like/Dislike thread...think it was turning into Pops in Your Head! Too funny!)
  4. Love! Surprises for your birthday?
  5. Cindy....that would be great and then I could bring your bags! Hope this works out for the 11th!
  6. I added the get together link on my siggy too Renee! Hopefully we'll have a big group!
  7. Hey Ladies...thanks for all the compliments...for the whole package which included: - My bridal bouquet - 5 bridesmaids bouquets - 9 Bouts (one is a little extra special for my FI) - 3 wrist corsages on pearl bracelets - Sparkly bouquet jewelry on each of the 6 bouquets The total cost was $575. As far as I'm concerned it was money well spent. The flowers are more then I could have asked for and will be perfect for the big day!
  8. Thanks Renee! Things are a little busy right now! I can't believe our big day is just 6 weeks away! Everything is really coming together now! I can do June 11th but can't do June 4th....it's our schools big Fun Fair on the 4th! I really hope the 11th works for most because I really want to see you ladies before I become a Mrs. So come on you Toronto girls...say it's the 11th and I'll see you all there. Milestones works for me! Thanks again Renee!
  9. Beautiful: Quiet Sunday Mornings
  10. We're handing out our bags before the trip...in fact we're seeing some of our wedding guests next week at our shower and we'll be giving a few then. I just think it's easy that way and once seeing them all assembled I couldn't imagine bringing 25 goodie bags down with us. Also, we're bringing Pashminas, decor, flowers, and fans...I think that's enough goodies for everyone down there. I know a lot of the girls do lug them all down but for us...we though it would be another thing to get people excited before our trip. On our OOT letter we wrote "THANK YOU! GOODIES FOR YOU TO BRING TO PUNTA CANA!" Hopefully people will Just my two cents!
  11. Well ladies...here they are! My flowers have arrived and here are some pics! I'm totally thrilled with them and think they are so beautiful. Each flower is unique and different! Roberta is amazing! Definitely check out Plumerias Wedding Boutique!
  12. My flowers from Plumerias Wedding Boutique arrived last week and I finally got the pics from my Mom! I'm in love with the colour combinations and how wonderful they turned out. I can't believe the detail in each flower. Each one is unique and different! They are stunning! My bridal bouquet is especially lovely and quite large. We ordered my bouquet, five bridesmaids bouquets, 9 bouts for the guys (included our Dad's), and wrist corsages for the Mom's! The corsages are attached to a pearl band which is gorgeous! My Mom is excited to wear it! Here are some pics...I highly recommend Roberta!
  13. Here's some pics of the fans that I did. I used Glue Dots to attach the ribbon and wrapped it tightly. Then we attached the programs using more glue dots. I did trim the rack card just a bit to fit a little better on some of the smaller fans. I think they turned out great!
  14. We tied our Thank You Letter to the bags with Orange and Pink Ribbon from Michael's! (Zach was loving the all girls day...he got lots of love!) I've attached the templates that I used! Hope this is helpful...what do you think? Ibuprofin Labels.doc Imodium Labels.doc LipBalm stickers.doc Survival Kit Labels - doc.doc

  16. (Zach was loving the all girls day...he got lots of love!) Our next project was wrapping the pashminas in ribbon...I still need to attach the "To Have and To Hold Labels" (forgot the glue gun!) Then we tied ribbon around the bubbles I bought from Dollar Giant...they were 9 for $1!! Then we were onto the fans...I bought the Raffia fans from OTC and ribbon from Michael's. I printed our programs through VISTA and I think they turned out super! I used glue dots to attach the ribbon and the programs (they will be easy to take off after the wedding). I highly recommend recruiting some friends for a day like this! I can't believe how much we got accomplished!

  18. WOW...quite a busy time for you! So he'll be starting before your wedding? I guess you're wedding week will be extra special! It is fun though isn't it?! All the planning and special events! I posted earlier, way earlier because I got mine so long ago, but here are a couple pics! What do you think? I love them!
  19. Gorgeous Jannae!! Things are really coming together...can you believe we're just 6 weeks away! We're waiting on my FI's wedding band to come in! I'll post pictures once it arrives! I've had mine since November! Can't wait to wear it!
  20. Hey There...I'd love the purse and the dress...is the purse white or ivory? I'm PM'ing you now with my address to figure out shipping!
  21. Hey Ladies...I'm getting married at the Gran Bahia in just 6 weeks! Can't believe how quickly the date is coming. Our wedding date is July 7, 2010. As for the package we chose, we chose the Blissful Love package and are getting married at the White Gazebo! Our private reception will be at the Garden Grill Restaurant. We're having alternating orange and pink chair sashes on the chairs. In terms of what we're bringing down, we've decided that we're going to hand out our gift bags to our guests before we leave. My flowers from Roberta of PLumerias Wedding Boutique just arrived and they are amazing! We'll be bringing those for sure. As for decor and favours, we'll be bringing down shells, sand-dollar name cards, candles, flower petals and glass bowls for the centre pieces. We're just doing simple centre pieces and incorporating my girls real touch bouquets to add some colour on the tables. We're also bringing raffia fans for the ceremony on which I've attached our programs and pashminas to give out at the reception. We plan on buying a box or two of cigars to put out with the pashminas and I made matchbooks for the table as well. We're doing our Rehearsal Dinner at the Mexican restaurant and I've made a reservation for our whole group the night before the wedding. We plan on taking everyone on a catamaran trip but will negotiate once we get down there about price! Everything is negotiable in the DR! A family friend is taking photos and we will be having the resort photographer as well that is included in the package! With so many artsy friends and the resort photographer I'm not worried about having enough photos! I've heard that you can negotiate with them as well! Well...nice to see some other Gran Bahia PC brides around here...I was getting to feel a little lonely! Question - has anyone asked about steaming of our dresses and our FI's suits? I need to email Ana and ask her if that's included.
