Kalikid - That's really wierd about ITravel because we booked through themand our guests have a ton of time to put down the full payment, in fact they can book anytime before April 26th and our wedding is in July. The price is subject to change but I did let my guests know that they should put their money down if they want the good price! I've been in contact with Steph Bianco, one of the wedding coordiinators! For everyone else - my friend who designed the invitations has his website up and running! Not sure if I've missed a thread about this but I was wondering what ideas people have for fun ways to make the bride and groom kiss! I'd love to hear others ideas!

We're thinking Welcome Drinks in the lobby bar like a lot of others are doing! Our flight arrives later in the evning anyways. I do like the idea that you could give out the bags then and make up silly name tags so people could get to know each other!

I think I'll just take it to the consulate...I was humming and hawing about whether to go through the process or just get married here first but I really think there is something special about your wedding day being the real day to become husband and wife! $2000 to change your name? I'm a little confused I've never heard of something like that. Who do we pay to change our names? Question: How far in advance to you send the documents to WEDO? I've heard you can't do it until 3 months till the wedding date. We are 8 months away...how soon should we do this?

One idea I really love is that we're going to ask all the married couples what their first dance was and we'll make those songs part of the music through dinner! HAPPY PLANNING!

The bridesmaids will walk down the aisle to Love, Love, Love by the Beatles then Dad and I will walk to All you Need is Love! A real beatles feel but the songs are fun and will work well!

So excited...this weekend my 5 girls were able to take advantage of J Crews Fall Sale and we ordered their dresses for half price! Three girls will be in the Tea Rose pink colour One in the Juliet Strapless Chiffon Dress One in the Cotton Cady Halter Dress One in the Twist Tank Chiffon Dress Two Girls will be in Sweet Cantelope Both wearing the Juliet Strapless! Can't wait to see them lined up together!

I don't think that you're Dad needs to match the guys! My Dad is just going to choose his own outfit. If if doesn't matter to you then I'd just let your Dad decide and be comfortable. The one thing about the guys outfits will look very similar to the guys in the bridal party because of the nature of casual/dress beach clothes. But, that being said, the great thing about a wedding...it's your day and your vision! Good luck with it!

Two different close friends of our family both wnat to throw me a shower! One will be just for me and one will be for me and my FI! I wasn't expecting anything but they insist which is so lovely. The one concern I had was for my girls! I've told my BM's and MOH that they should absolutely not feel as though they need to bring a gift to either shower. With the expenses of the trip, there's no way they should have to get gifts.
