  1. We have asked a boyfriend of one of my bridesmaids to be our I Pod man throughout the day...I'll make sure that he knows when to play each song but for the dinner and dancing we'll just let it play. I think we'll make separate playlists because for the reception, I'd like to try cross fading the songs together.
  2. Thanks for all the kind words ladies! I'm glad that so many of you have found it useful! I saw a video on You Tube of the Bouquet toss song and nearly feel out of my chair laughing! I think it's perfect! HAPPY PLANNING! I just love the vibe on this forum...everyone is so open and postive!
  3. Hey Everyone...I was reading posts tonight and thought that I'd share our Excel spreadsheet that we've been working on. We've divided our wedding into different sections and will be loading an I POD with the different playlists. We're not finished the list and I'm sure we'll change it but thought this might be useful for someone else in the early planning stage! I've loved using You Tube to watch videos and search for music! wedding songs.xls
  4. Beautiful choices...my girls are wearing three different colours! Love that idea!
  5. I've been using a book called "Destination Wedding Planner: The Ultimate Guide to Planning a Wedding From Afar" to keep me organized and it's been working great. Some of the sections don't really apply if you're having an AI wedding but it's great to have one central spot for magazine clippings, pictures, cards, and reciepts. Here is a link to it on Amazon website: Amazon.com: Destination Wedding Planner: The Ultimate Guide to Planning a Wedding from Afar (9780811866736): Alison Hotchkiss: Books

  10. Usually the hurricane season starts a little later in the summer, August, September, and October. I've heard that this a beautiful time to go as well...just hot! We've booked for July because I'm a teacher. The average temp is 32 degrees and humid. I would say go when you want to have your wedding everyone will be there for you and being in a tropical paradise, even with a day of rain is no biggie.
  11. Thanks for posting! I like some of the instrumental songs here. I'm currently debating about the version of ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE to make my big entrance too!

The final result is two beautiful wedding bands that fit on either side of my ring...the size will take some getting used to but I'm sure I'll adjust Here are a few photos...my FI is still looking around for his!
