  1. My feeling is to invite those people that are close to you which in my case will be all the ladies that were invited to our wedding. My co-workers will probably have a little something but I think inviting those who can't come to the wedding is especially important considering we're not having a AHR. I know people will want to celebrate with us!
  2. We decided to not invite anyone from our workplaces. I'm a teacher, at a small school, but with so many family and close friends already being invited inviting our co-workers would have made our guest list way to big. I'm sure they'll have a little shower for me there but you have to decide if inviting that many more people is in your budget...because they may come! My thinking was if I start inviting some people then it might lead to a little jealousy about who got invites. Just my two cents
  3. Here is a picture of my E Ring and my Wedding Bands. I love them! Can't wait to wear them all together!
  4. This is a J Crew Dress! It's the Silk Chiffon Tank Twist dress. The nice thing about them is if you choose the colour then the girls can just chose the style they would like best for their shapes. We ordered ours from there and the girls received them in just over a week! Some went halter and some strapless! That wasn't even the rushed shipping method! Check them out online! HAPPY HUNTING!
  5. Great job on everything and thanks for posting all the templates! I think the Planning Threads are my favourites! CONGRATS!
  6. Amazing link for the cards! Thanks so much! Was just starting to think that I should order some but have a ton of card stock so perfect! Here's an attachment of the Program that we're going to use for our ceremony...it does have some turquoise but with the ocean colour...it doesn't bother me! I've borrowed this from another bride on BDW! Programs for Ceremony - Blank.doc
  7. So my personal trainer is interested in the session as well! I'll PM you, Dawn, with her email so that we can keep her in the loop for dates too! Exciting stuff!
  8. $80 for hair and makeup is really resonable. Pretty standard pricing I think! I'm still in...keep me posted on dates...just can't do March Break Week...March 12 - 21! Thanks for organzing this! So excited...heading to the gym right now!
  9. Our friend Dan, who has done our invitations for us has just completed our monogram. I plan on incorperating into gift tags, thank you cards, and to have printed on mugs and bags. I love it so much!
  10. Thank you! Thank you! The colours are perfect and will look so great on our bags! Thanks for sharing!
  11. Awesome! Thanks for posting! Congrats and super job on everything!
  12. Thanks for the heads up about the wedding coordinator change! I'm going to email today to make sure everything is booked and confirmed. Where are people having their receptions? What kind of centre pieces are you bringing? Are you doing an I Pod reception?
  13. I'm definately interested! Would there be hair and makeup too? Or would we do that on our own? I hope there are another 5 brides out there that want to make this happen! I'm in!
  14. Love the shot idea...I think we're going to make that one of the Mission Impossible tables for the reception! With our crowd people would go through them like crazy too!
  15. Wow...thanks for the tip! It's amazing what stores are doing t oget people to buy. I can't wait till after Christmas and Boxing Day Sales...we're heading down to the states for the day...looking for OOT bag bargins!
  16. I chose Real Touch Bouquets and Bouts from Plumerias Wedding Boutique because I wanted the colours to be just right and I also like the idea that the girls will be able to keep them after the wedding. I'm also incorperating the bouquets into our centrepieces so it's actually saving me a little money! I guess the one thing with real flowers is depending on the season and where you're wedding is they might not be the right colours or very costly. For 5 bridesmaids bouquets, mine, 9 bouts, and three wrist corsages we're spending around $500! It's a personal choice but there are some beautiful options for real touch out there! HAPPY PLANNING! PlumeriasWeddingFlowerBoutique
  17. I'll post pictures when mine comes in but I chose the Zuri dress! Mine was $850 Canadian but I will need to have some alterations as well. When I tried it on in the store the sample was way too small but it was so beautiful...every other dress just didn't live up to it! The corset and rouching across the middle of the dress is so flattering! HAPPY HUNTING!
