Great post...I especially like the bits about not over planning your guests, although we are having a "rehersal dinner" and about doing as much as you can before you go. I've got a few great chekclists going and it feels so good to check things off of the list!

My five girls will be walking down the aisle to Here Comes the Sun and I'll be walking to All You Need is Love both by the Beatles. I definitely wanted some less traditional choices for music...I'd say go with fun tunes!

I ordered from Plumerias Wedding Boutique as well. We went for the whole package...for $500 we are getting my bouquet, 5 bridesmaids bouquets, 9 boutonnieres and 3 wrist corsages! All of the bouquets have a little jewel on them as well. Roberta is super to work with and communicates really quickly back and forth. Here are a few pictures of what the flowers will look like!

I like the idea of place cards and my wonderful mother has offered to write them in calligraphy which is even better! I second the idea about how it's nice to mix up the group and we will be having a head table as well. The one thing I think we're not going to do are menu's...I don't think they are necessary. What are others doing on that front?

My two go to breakfasts are an omelet with tons of veggies or a Protein Smoothie...I use VEGA protein powder. These breakfasts keep me filled up till morning snack time where I usually have a piece of fruit with nuts!

Wow ladies...so glad I didn't have experiences like this shopping...definitely their loss but hard to believe people can be so incredibly rude!! I ended up at Bridal and Beyond in Mississauga and that was a great experience...they let you keep your shoes on, you could take pictures before the purchase, no need for an appointment, huge changerooms, and tons of Maggie Sottero dresses. I would recommend them although my Maggie is taking forever to come in...supposed to be here in a few weeks
