I use a website called Fitday. It's got a huge bank of foods and you can create your own profile and foods so that foods you eat often and that might not be in the bank. Here's a link to it...it is helpful to know what you're eating and it definitely has made me feel more conscious of what I put in my mouth. It is also gives you a breakdown of the percentages of vitamins, minerals, carbs, proteins, and fats that you're eating so you can see if your diet is balanced.

In terms of the eating program I follow, I've lost 30 pounds this year, I eat clean foods...lots of fruits and veggies, one large salad with at least four colours each day, no dairy (upon recommendation from my nutritionist), lean protein, nuts, sprouted grain cereals and breads, whole wheat pasta and brown rice. Make sure to drink tons of water...no such thing as too much and good luck!
