  1. I had to post something....my dress is in...I'm going to try it on and pick it up on Saturday...I'll be sure to post pictures of what it looks like on a real bride! SO EXCITED!
  2. My ring is insured for a whole lot more than my FI paid for it. As far as I know that's the way it usually is. IT's actually insured for almost double what he paid for it because of the good deal he got on the diamond. Hope you get this sorted out...I'd be curious to hear others opinions!
  3. Awesome....if you don't mind sharing...how much per piece were they?
  4. Thanks for quickly sending the items! I received the placecard holders last week! Very cute!
  5. I use a website called Fitday. It's got a huge bank of foods and you can create your own profile and foods so that foods you eat often and that might not be in the bank. Here's a link to it...it is helpful to know what you're eating and it definitely has made me feel more conscious of what I put in my mouth. It is also gives you a breakdown of the percentages of vitamins, minerals, carbs, proteins, and fats that you're eating so you can see if your diet is balanced. www.fitday.com In terms of the eating program I follow, I've lost 30 pounds this year, I eat clean foods...lots of fruits and veggies, one large salad with at least four colours each day, no dairy (upon recommendation from my nutritionist), lean protein, nuts, sprouted grain cereals and breads, whole wheat pasta and brown rice. Make sure to drink tons of water...no such thing as too much and good luck!
  6. Love the lobby bar suggestion! That's what our plan is! Why pay for drinks when you're at an all inclusive! Ceremony will start around 2pm and then there will be a short champange toast after the ceremony. We'll then take pictures and all our guests will have a couple hours to themselves to head to Air Conditionning and hang out. I'm sure people will appreciate have a little time to themselves...maybe even time for a swim. Dinner and the reception will begin around 6:30pm.
  7. Like! The hotter the better! As long as there is water to swim! Fresh Powder for skiing?
  8. Wow so beautiful! I love your colour choices! Those are ours too! I can't wait for the big day to arrive!
  9. At Sephora, the girls recommended two types of primer...the Smashbox one and a primer by Tarte!
  10. Don't forget to print off your coupons ladies! Thanks for the heads up!
  11. Oooo scary though Carolina! I would go through with it but definitely would need to get a new dress! We have been so extra careful this year! Hmmm...do you want children at your DW?
  12. Wonderful idea for the VISTA PRINT outdoor stickers! Love that idea! They came out super as well!
  13. Congrats! Wonderful job on everything! You must be so excited! Enjoy every moment!
  14. Great job...I too worry about your low calorie intake...when I lost 30 lbs last year my nutritionist told me that I needed to eat more. I eat 1800 calories a day but clean food! Lots of proteins, good cards, fruits and veggies! Keep it up!
  15. Amazing! How special to have so many wonderful pictures to document the day! Congrats! Can't wait to see the planning thread!
  16. Here's a run down of what she suggested! Smashbox Primer HD Foundation Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer - I bought this Urban Decay Eyeshadows: Roach - Light Beige Sellout - Gold Baked - Chocolate Brown Bare Essentials Shimmer Eyeshadow - True Gold - Loved this...want to bathe in it! Stila Blush - Gerbera - it's a creme blush stain that can be used on lips too...very nice Stila Bronzer Bare Essential Destiny Lip Gloss It came out really nice....I like the gold and the bronsie look! My FI loved it...said it looked natural but better!
  17. Hey Ladies...just got back from a day with one of my BM's! It was so fun! We booked a makeup lesson at Sephora. The lady I had was wonderful...I'd watched a few makeup tutorials on You Tube and knew what colours I was looking for and she helped create a really great look. I was able to find out products that would be helpful for a DW. She did one eye and then I did the other one to learn how to apply the look. Definitely recommend this option if you're doing your own makeup. I'm also going to go to the MAC counter at the Bay where they will do the same thing for free you just have to buy $50 worth of product which isn't hard at all. Here's a few pictures....
