Here are some of my favourites! My book was ordered this week! Can't wait to have it in my hands! I've decided to cut up one of the pictures into a puzzle and give my FI a piece a day before we leave and on the first night we get to Punta Cana give him the last piece with the book! What do you think? It's so hard to keep these secret!

We ended up finding our shirts at Steinmart...they had lots of choices for guys shirts! We went with an off white for the guys and a white shirt for my FI! Not bad price either...$25! The pants we got at a Haggar Outlet. They are Cool 18's so hopefully the guys won't sweat their **S off! HEre's some pics of my FI and one of our Groomsmen modeling! This is my FI in his first shirt...from Target! Don't have a picture of the one we decided to go with! UPDATE: - Had my first shower - Booked first dress fitting! - Went to the Dominican Consulate to get our documents legalized and translate STILL TO DO: - Wrap Ribbons - Assemble OOT bags - Do mock table set-up - BUY FI's wedding band...I think we've finally narrowed it down!

Everyone the reservation is under "Sarah" and the lady said that they won't hold the table too long so if everyone could try to be there as close to 7:30pm that would be great. She suggested that I make the reservation for 7:45pm just to give us a little grace period...I'm sure the table will be ready at 7:30pm anyways. Looking forward to it!

Awesome...thanks for posting the template...I think I'm going to use it for actually matchbooks because we're doing a cigar table. Question...where can you get packages of Matches? Does anyone know?

I wouldn't spend money on it but we are bringing a knife set. The same one that both my grandparents and my parents used to cut their cake. We'll just tie a little pink and orange ribbon around it to make it match our decor. Why not ask around...a family member might have one with a little emotional significance?

Wow Jodie...super tough situation...with all your reasons about why not it sounds like you've already decided. We've not been having quite the same issue but my FI's parents are back in court right now over money so there is extreme tension between the two. They don't even want to be in the same room, I've having to work on them about coming to our his and her shower. On the other hand, we invited pretty much everyone to our wedding and just hoped some wouldn't come. I don't think this is the best idea because you will get some surprises. Go with your heart...if you're really not close then I would say no. Just my two cents...hope it's helpful!

I'm doing a hard cover photo book of all of our best family photos. Throughout the book, I included quotes about family and parents. I hope they will love it! I'm just finishing it and will be ordering it this coming week!

Here's a pic of one of our groomsmen modeling our GM outfits! We got the shirts at Steinmart for $25 and the pants at a Haggar outlet for $28! Pretty great and it was exactly what we were looking for! The pants are nice and light and will be perfect for a hot wedding day! They have a slight herringbone pattern on them. The shirt has a bit of a design on it but is tone on tone. The guys will be getting their own brown leather sandals. What do you think?

We booked through Air Canada Vacations and we were automatically bumped up to First Class for both flights. Since we are booking with a large group...they bumped us up. As a bonus both my parents and my brother have upgraded as well (for a fee)! Good luck with it!

So I've been on the hunt for a cake topper for the last little while...it's the next thing on the list and I really liked the idea of the crystal letters a top our wedding cake...but the price was way too high for us! I'd rather buy a new dress for our week in the DR! Last night I found this vendor on ETSY and I ordered her three letter cake toppers. She's customizing the colour for us and doing our first name initials in a bright pink pearls and the middle letter in orange pearls. Christina is the vendor and she's been super to talk with...I'll post pictures once they arrive!
