We had our Ipod for music at our cocktail party and reception. It was totally fine, we just made up a playlist before we went, so we did not have to keep going back and forward to change songs or tracks. We were charged $250 for the use of the amp and speakers, as we were told it would be $2500 for a DJ!

Really must say, the staff at the hotel are really good about making sure no-one interupts another's day, so I really wouldn't worry about the two of you organising things, as the staff will have that all worked out anyway! There was another wedding on when I got married and the photographer just took pics in another location until the pier was free for us to go and have our pics done there. x

I had Caribe photo do my pics. We got them as part of our wedding package too! I think they did a great job considering we didn't have to pay much. Some of my photos in the album were taken by Caribe photographers. They aren't the most artistic photos you can get, but good. We only had our photographer for an hour and we didn't choose to extend the time. We had our photographer start from the ceremony and photos after. A friend of ours who was at the wedding, wanted to do some photos for us as a wedding present, so he made up a lovely album for us and he did all the details photos of my shoes and dress and me getting my hair done etc and all of the reception pics. So that would be an option. Ask a friend if they would mind doing some photos throughout the reception so you don't have to worry about not having any. Â Re the dancefloor on the beach ... I obviously didn't have a beach reception, so wouldn't like to advise you too much on that considering there is $250 to be paid for it. I would say that after the ceremony most of my guests, me included, had kicked of our shoes and were wandering around barefoot on the plaza deck! So if your party are similar minded, then you prob wouldn't need a dancefloor, however, the older guests may want one for dancing on ... so sorry, can't really answer that one! x Â

I got married on Zavas plaza deck! There are two though, I think. A smaller one and a larger one. There was only 14 of us in total, so we had the smaller area and decided to have both our Cocktail reception and evening reception in the same place. As there was only 14 of us, we arranged for them to have all sit at one large table, so we wouldn't have to pick and choose who would be at the top table with us. The photos are only snaps taken by family and friends, so aren't the greatest, but hopefully gives you an idea of what it will look like. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
