By the way, if any of you ladies are looking for a good motivational way to drop a few pounds before your wedding, there is a BDW Biggest Loser competition! The deadline to email your before pictures and a pic of your weight on the scale is by midnight tonight (Eastern time). There is no fee to enter... so if you are interested it is in the Beauty,Exercise and Diet section! Hope to see some of my fellow DPC brides there!

Yeah that's just it! We just want the dinner, no music (whatever is on in the background at the restaurant is fine), no DJ... just the supper! We will be paying a dj back here, and we want to make the DW as simple as possible!! I will send an email to Deyanira, Tam you should do the same and see what she says.

Erin you are doing the iPod thing? I'm wondering how this goes down ladies... like I want to have a reception dinner (gold package I believe), but what else does this entail? Is there the expectation of a dance afterward? FI and I were just planning to do a supper with everyone and then hit the disco.. hahaha

Any news on the size of the chairs? I'm definitely adding sashes.. haha

Those are really nice!! I agree, its so much fun to do them yourself!! FI was really into it, it was cute! Arranging everything on the boarding passes and making them look just so.. haha he has great attention to detail!

My FI is not bad for misplacing things, his is forgetting to do things and/or making me so frustrated I do it for him... haha But its ME that gdoes the "ok seriously, where are my keys? I left them RIGHT HERE and - oh... they were over here the whole time!" thing in the morning, afternoon and night (whenever we leave the house)... haha

So sorry to hear about your resort!! What a bummer and a serious sign of the times... There are a few resorts in Punta Cana that are known for doing GREAT weddings! One would be mine, Dreams Punta Cana! Great wedding packages, and if you find the right TA you can get a great price! Another would be Majestic Colonial (or Elegance), and they as well have LOTS to offer. There are a lot of ladies on here that are getting married at Paradisus as well... I would check out the threads here (you are in the right place!), see what resorts seem to be popular and get rave reviews from past weddings and make your choice! Those are my top three suggestions though! OH I personally like Bahia Principe as a resort, their staff is great! Not sure about weddings though, you would have to check that out!
