That's good to know.. I wonder if if it's any different for longer tables? Hmm!! Thats good to know though! Deyanira hasn't written back to me very much lately, anyone else having a similar problem?
  2. Any Canadian brides know about the policy for Sunwing? I remember them being much more strict...?
  3. Wow we are just a little group!! Happy Friday Losers! hehee
  4. Happy Friday to you too tara! I already have my wedding dress... haha I know I'm lucky to have already found it and decided!! I knew exactly what I was looking for, so once I found it (it was the third dress I tried) I said "order it, thats the one"! I haven't even found anyone close to my date except Toya, and she is like June 18th I believe.. anyone for July 2nd 2010? By the way everyone check out the thread that just started in this Dominican Republic section about translation, it appears there may be a cheaper way to get the marriage certificate translated back over to English!

I'm definitely curious about the notorization though, how much does that cost (in addition to the translation)? If the Dominican Consulate does it, does it come notorized or just translated as well?
  6. Can you buy toasting flutes at the resort as a keepsake? Or could you bring your own for the bride and groom to use? I saw some in a wedding store here that I love... anyone know?

I have had less headaches, not nearly as bloated and I'm down a few pounds. I think the biggest change is that I have sooo much more energy. I have gone pretty much sugar free, except the occasionally chai tea with organic cane sugar. I haven't found the agave nectar in either of the stores I shop at, so I am still on the search. I actually got my free trial of the Clean Eating magazine in the mail today, so I'm looking forward to trying some new recipes. My hubby is enjoying the recipes but he is complaining he's hungry b/c he is not eating every 2-3 hrs so of course he's going to be hungry. I am absolutely not hungry, and I am not looking at it as a diet. I am enjoying the way I am feeling and being more conscious of my food choices. I will probably continue beyond my 100 day goal b/c I am committed to the philosophy. That is so inspiring to hear!! That's when "diets" are the most successful; when they are not a diet per say, but a lifestyle change!! I'm going to get my book tomorrow, and I will be doing the eat-clean on monday...even though I'm already eating pretty good I am open to ideas!
  8. Congrats! You will be very happy you found this forum!!

  14. I'm glad to hear FI is stepping up... don't worry about it too much!! I know that's hard, but worrying too much is going to ruin your special day! They are obviously very self-centered, egotistical people who need a reality check!! Good job on alerting w/c and GM JUST IN CASE... god almighty I can't even imagine!! My heart goes out to you, keep us posted on how it goes. HAVE FUN!!

  18. thanks for the ideas ladies! Ann I never thought of asking her, although I didn't know she lived in South Florida either! Thanks for the tip Pepperette I will let you know what they say when I contact them about pricing, if you are interested?
  19. I am definitely going to be waiting to see that sample centrepiece Erin, since this is starting to intrigue me... if it can be done cheaper, then why not??
  20. I will definitely check them out!! What are their prices like? My work computer doesn't allow me to see some flash sites (stupid company block!)
  21. Celiac Disease seems so inconvenient, especially when you first find out you have it... BUT like you said countrygirl you become healthier simply by virtue of the strict diet you need to follow. I have IBS, so I can understand the need to stay away from certain foods! Lactose is especially dangerous, messes everything up! They sell the Eat-Clean book at my gym, it sounds like its worth investing in. I'm always afraid to buy things like that, since there are so many gimmick diet books out there that are unreasonable. But I trust you ladies!!
