  1. Cassie that would be a great challenge! I use the stairs now anyway (since an elevator is not available), but for people like me, it could be making more frequent trips up and down the stairs if you already use them! I'm down!

  3. hey Tara! My FI bought his linen suit at Le Chateau at the end of August, since their summer stuff is all on sale... normally I think their suit coordinates are like... $180 for the jacket and $90 for the pants, but they were both like half price!! If you don't want to buy from the internet, that would be a good place to start.... not sure if they would STILL have that, but another thing to check (if you have it where you live) is a Le Chateau Outlet, since they almost always have that stuff! Good luck
  4. I'm not doing too bad foodwise, but I'm finding it hard to exercise since it's "that time of the month"... I'm sure with all of my fluid retention I will be up... here's hoping I stay the same, but it doesn't look good! haha
  5. Erin - it helps a LOT... he is never afraid to say if something looks awful on me... hahaha its like having the benefits of a fashion-conscious gay friend in a straight man! hehe
  6. New brides who are just starting their planning are going to be very thankful to find this! I am glad that we have a place to share information with each other, make recommendations or send out warnings. Imagine how many other people who do not have access to this are getting screwed as we speak? Its a shame to know that there are people out there who will hurt people during an event that is one of the most important milestones in life. Sad, but true! Kudos girly!! By the way, Mastercard should be able to get that back for you, since complaints have been filed all over the place!
  7. we have orange and aqua as our colors (very tropical)! I just called FI in Florida and asked him if he had decided what his GMs will wear, and he said the beige linen pants with shot sleeve white button down shirts and they will have the orange boutonnieres (since BMs will have range bouquets). Ahh, the benefits of having a french FI.... he knows how to coordinate, and sometimes better than I do! haha
  8. I would say gold first, then silver as my choices... but it depends on the skin color of your BM's, since silver tends to look nice (and stand out more) on darker skin, whereas yellow gold works with very fair complexions!
  9. I took my two dogs for a 45-1 hr walk in the trails along the water and in the firest today... very stress-relieving physically and mentally!!
  10. For us, hubby will be in a white dress shirt with the linen jacket and pants... the groomsmen will be in linen pants, no jacket but we are baffled as to what color shirt they should have. The girls are in an aqua color dress... what do you girls think? PS: SSNM I never knew that! Learned something new today... hahaha
  11. At Dreams PC, they give the groom a complimentary room the night before if something is available... so we will not see each other the night before or the day of!! As well, he will not see my wedding dress, and I am doing the 4 "somethings"... but other than that we aren't following others
  12. I hear ya Ash!! That really brings the budget down!! YEE HAW!
  13. Signature, by the way, canceled a flight that my friends wedding party was supposed to be on. Check into Sunwing, I haven't heard of them canceling flights (yet)!
  14. Switch tour operators for sure!! I agree with the other ladies that it is not necessarily the TA's fault, but look at how he or she has treated you thus far. If it is anything less than FANTASTIC, switch. My TA has been fantastic, he is based in Oakville Ontario and is WONDERFUL. He would have got this sorted out for me a while ago, since this is something that he or she should be handling on your behalf. You don't need this a month before your wedding!!
  15. cougs, I am really sorry to hear about your dad... I know the feeling of being given an "expiry date" on a family member by a doctor....believe me. Its a tough pill to swallow! Whenever you can participate, feel free to join in, we would love to have you I had a big week this week, I hope I can keep it up!!
  16. I will be able to help out with this when I move there at the end of the month!!
  17. oh crap erin you are right!!! damn, I thought I found a cheapy way!!! grrr.... lol
  18. wow Denise, that is really brutal!! I think my mom should be taking fluid pills, since she has a thyroid issue and retains water like crazy! Do they really help??
  19. DEFINITELY! And let me know what they look like in real life, cause its a stellar deal!!
