We are booking Huellas de Caribe this week, since his work looks great and the prices are very reasonable!! Has anyone asked about those prices? I like them A LOT better too Tam!! haha its like half!!

Ladies I have a question! I am looking at the DPC site, and it looks like the wedding extras site was updated, but maybe only partially? The cost for the reception dinner i.e. silver package is lower than the package prices that someone here was given that we all have. Any accounting for this? It is definitely worth a look, and maybe one of you has already noticed this and asked. It states at the bottom that the prices are effective for 2010....

I will be interested to hear about the travel mugs too, since thats one of our options as well (if it is cost-effective). FI and I went as a plug and socket fr halloween... it was too funny! SO I was going to start 30 day shred this morning but I got blisters from my sandals, so I won't be starting it until tomorrow. I can't wait though!! I am starting to notice that from my weight loss I am needing to tone up my back A LOT... especially the area around my lower and middle back... anyone have any exercise suggestions? SSNM I am SURE you can help with this one after seeing your awesome shape!!

A guy here in Fort Myers went out as the H1N1 virus... he was dressed all in black with a pig mask and syringes without the needles glued to his clothes... and he had like tylenol packets taped to himself haha it was in bad taste but clever at the same time! FI and I went as a plug and socket... ahahaha we got such a good reaction, and both of us (especially me) were comfy!!

I have a crazy FFIL, drives me crazy in LIFE and the wedding hasn't even rolled around yet!! He is like another girls FMIL, bragging about spending money on this and that, but said he would "lend" FI money for the wedding... well I told FI that any money he would use to pay back to his dad would come out of HIS money, not mine! My parents are in no way asking to be paid back, thats not how it works! As well, he gives off that vibe of "I don't like you but I tolerate you because I have to"... brings up FI's ex, and sometimes is downright rude. My theory on this is because FI is French and I am English... and in the French community (AKA Quebec for you Canadians, you will hear me on this one) it is frowned upon to date someone "outside your language"... its this whole culture protection thing they have going on. ANYWAY. I have lots more ranting to do, but I will let someone else take a turn... haha

Glad to hear you are feeling better SSNM! On a positive note, it wasn't a serious flu, if you catch my drift! I am drinking lots of water today, since my FI's hockey team had the Halloween party last night (they played on the 31st). And we went out on Halloween for some eats and some drinks... but I did eat well while we were out, so thats a +! Going to swim tomorrow morning for exercise, really pumped for it actually! And I got Jillian Michaels 30 day shred on the weekend, so I am going to give that a try!!

this might be a supid question, but do the sand ceremony vases have a way to close so that the sand doesn't go everywhere?? lol

I'm happy to hear you are all ready, I'm afraid when I will be a week out I will still be arranging things and be completely not prepared!! haha How did everyone do over the holiday weekend? I did really good with food and exercise, except for the Halloween party I went to that I drank too much at... haha SSNM I'm glad to hear you are feeling better, being sick is completely brutal! On a side note, SgtPepperette is in Florida during a good week, we had super high humidity here last week but it should subside this week!!

I sent mine in color... and actually it was a b*tch, because the silver on my numbers didn't really want to scan in... it was fine though! I sent my deposit info in once we got confirmation from the judge on our date and time! I absolutely LOVE Florida!! It has been a little too hot the last week, and according to Floridians they are in the middle of a "heat wave with record highs"... its more the humidity than anything else. My dyed blond hair is struggling this week, it looks more like a lion's mane!! Hahahaha It should be better this week though, a "cold front" moves in mid-week. I use that word lightly, since their version is nothing like our Canadian cold fronts!! Any snow up in T.O. yet? It looks like FI and I might be moving back to Halifax before Christmas, since he got a full scholarship offer from a university there! Oh well, this will be just a nice vacation for the time being... lol

That is so amazing!! I have met some of my favorite people in the world in the DR, probably explains why I have gone there 6 times on vaca!! Haha! I think its awful how much work has to go in to "prove" your relationship... I know there are (obviously) some people who take advantage of the system and thats why those measures ae in place, but it just SOUNDS ridiculous for two people to have to prove they love eachother and that the relationship is legit. No one of the same country has to do that! Even though I think celebrities should have to do this, there is too much random marriage and subsequent divorce in Hollywood if you ask me... hahaha

If my reason for selling my dress was a bunch of weight loss, I would be happy too! Good luck selling!!
