  1. Aw that is such a dream come true! I can sympathize with the "feeling yucky" and unpretty, my FI took me out to eat, I overate and when we came out of the restaurant it was foggy AKA my hair went big like a lion it was so fuzzy! But when he got down on one knee and it started pouring, it was super romantic and I forgot all about my hair hee hee!!
  2. I always dreamed of getting engaged up there! So gorgeous... I'm jealous!! CONGRATS
  3. what a great and unique story!! congrats and welcome to the forum!!
  4. On the beach not far from Dreams (towards the rest of the hotels) is an outdoor market where you could buy it... you can get it cheap too, if you are up for the bartering challenge!!
  5. I will be watching it, since I watched it all along! I am one seriously Jon hater though, he has not made it easy for Kate OR his kids... running around flaunting his new gf (who seems to be hating him now too) and trying to be a celebrity. I read in US weekly or something that Paris Hilton didn't even know who he was, so that shows you how much of a "celebrity" he is.... whatever. But I will say those kids are some cute!! hee hee
  6. It is a great idea!! I had planned on buying it for my wedding party as gifts once we got there, but if I could make it for he AHR it would be great!! Even for the OOT bags, a little bottle would be neat
  7. thats really good news... to avoid the brokerage cost I will have to order it with my own courier or ship by air... I won't be doing that for a while though!

My carrier is pretty strict about excess weight (Sunwing) unfortunately...
  9. strand of icicle lights : christmas decoration
  10. love it! mmm reminds me of Christmas french vanilla cappucino?
  11. welcome! I see you have already found us DPC girls... happy planning!

I know brides have mentioned the wind factor, but that doesn't bother me. And I have a jessica simpson clip in hair that will give my hair body and curls. I REALLY like the second one! Do you have any moe pictures of it I could see? Its really what I've been looking for!!

I'm bringing some of the things that I want to look a certain way, since Dreams overcharges for centrepieces IMO and I don't like their sashes! As well, its suff I can useat the AHR later and then sell, so why not?
  14. I am back in Canada already unfortunately.. so you mean if I want to use my own Fedex account number, I could? My company has a brokerage account, and I wouldn't have to pay for it, so I hope this is what you mean!!
  15. fantasy football: room mate (did it religiously)

I have tried those stick on cups before and for me they just don't work. They don't stay on as well, and sometimes they just don't look right with certain shirt or dresses. But that's just me. Get a good strip of tape, long enough to where it will reach all the way cross the underside of your breasts, but not too long to where the ends up the tape will show under your armpits and outside your dress. Bend over and start the tape roughly 3-4 inches down from your armpit. Sweep the tape down and under your breasts while holding your breasts in and up (for lift and cleavage), then back up to the same place you started on the opposite side (roughly 3 inches down from your opposite arm pit) The idea is that the tape should have a little bit of a U-shape (starting on one side underneath your armpit, going down under your breasts, then back up to the other side underneath the other armpit) I don't go all the way under my breasts (to where they're hanging over the tape), because I guess depending on what size you are, it doesn't really do anything to help at all. When I tape across the girls I try to just hit the bottom of them (just under the nipple) so it lifts them up. I also usually use a couple to a few strips of tape so I get them just how I want them! ; ) MObride09 maybe you can explain it your way too, since I may have rambled too much for anyone to understand! Haha I figured out after I read it twice! Its just getting the visual I am struggling with, but I'm sure it will make sense once I try it! Thanks very much!!
  17. I admire your curves... so jealous! Its gorgeous, I'm glad you finall found the dress that you love!!
  18. Feels great to find "the dress"... and yours is stunning! Who cares if its an older style? I can't even seem to find my style dress anymore lol but I LOVE it!!
  19. No problems with that - the more the merrier! I still can't believe how small we got... interesting!
  20. I will be interested to hear about the flowers as well - its so hard to find them at a reasonable price in Canada!

  22. Oh yeah by the way Toya, did you order organza sashes? If so, did you like the quality? I will be ordering from them if the quality is good, since the price is right!
  23. Not much new with us here Toya, except I made a decision about our centrepieces! Bed Bath & Beyond - Beach Day Hurricanes (Set of 3) This is what I'm using, and then I'm going to have starfish on the table around the pillars! I am going to add more sand as well in the pillars, and I'm thinking I might change the candles from white to orange (or aqua)... what do you ladies think? Given the price of the centrepieces at Dreams, I don't think I can go wrong!
