  1. yay LeAnne! Manders that blows about the book- maybe we can get our hands on the Zumba dvd and go splits? Whaddya think?
  2. oh yeah Jen she did! The bonfire includes only the bonfire, if you want you can add a bar (why the hell would you) or a cocktail hour. So basically, they charge $175 or something to start a fire for 1 hour... lol I think we will forgo this! Erin, your book is AMAZING! And I am wondering about that too, since we have the same thing as you guys (reception La Barcaza). hmmm...
  3. Alright, let me start by saying YAY for everyone weighing in this week, noone was missing! Now onto the results.. jamk32179: +0.43% FutureMrsGriffith: -0.25% Scubadiva: 0.00% (no weigh in last week) Cindy*: -0.12% SgtPepperette: -0.85% Swankster77: -0.32% Cassie: -0.54% Kathy: 0.00% Tifany: +1.94% Cougs: +0.50% Oryx: -1.20% Malisa: +1.00% Sapphire723: 0.00% (missed last week) Karla: 0.00% SheriB: -0.34% QueenDiva: 0.00% (missed last week, but for your own tracking +1.40%) futuremissbk: +0.14% Sammysgirl: -1.68% Bachatabride: -0.40% Princess402: -1.23% Non-competing Category: LadyDi: +1.32% nsbride2010: +0.23% And our weekly winner is: Sammysgirl!! Congratuations, Lindsey, keep working hard!! I would also like to say a little congrats to Princess402 (Angela) because she had her first loss of the season this week. Way to go, Angela!
  4. Thats fine, the Superbowl is supposed to be drinks and junk! hehe It's a good thing its only once a year... haha I'm going to do all the calculations now, so stay tuned!
  5. Erin I'm at work, and I can't open it... haha could you email it to me?
  6. Autumn, we are doing a can koozie, since a lot of drinks come in cups! I know most often the beer is on tap, so that would be in a cup as well.
  7. YAY cass!! That's the healthy way for sure! Something is better than nothing linds! Weigh in ladies!
  8. DAMN I wish I didn't get my dress, and I wish I didn't have such a fat arse... hahaha
  9. I think its like $175 or so, its in that guide on the DPC website though so you can double check it! I think a welcome dinner would be fine to be your rehearsal dinner. Its just a meal after you go through the flow of the wedding (if you choose to do so).
  10. Jenn I asked Deyanira this morning about the bonfire, cause I'm thinking about that the night before maybe! Otherwise, I am just putting it in my welcome letter that I want everyone to gather for lunch (or dinner) the night before the wedding!
  11. Jocy I loved your cake! Did it cost you any extra to have it smoothed out as opposed to what we saw before (all decorated with icing)? My vision is the same as yours, a piece of ribbon around the bottom (and I would add one around the second tier). Do you remember what the options were for colors for the chair sashes, or did you not worry about it? My FH wants them, and if they don't have orange we will have to bring them!
  12. Can you find time to get it in on the road Linds?
  13. so Tam get your hands on some contacts you have and call in favors is my advice! I'm getting a lot of stuff for free to borrow for decoration, and the stuff we are buying is cheapy cheapy AKA superstore cupcakes haha they are really good! You go thee about a week or two before you need them, tell them how many you need and what color icing you want and they will order them in for you
  14. Jocy decided to move in or something!! haha Tam for our AHR in Halifax we are getting a venue for free (its like a banquet hall) donated by my uncle, the bartender will only cost us like $25 bucks, the DJ is giving us a discount so that's cheap too! We are going to get all of our family members (the women) to make some little finger foods and get m little cousins friends to serve them like a cocktail hour... haha we will pay them like $20 an hour or something, free money for 17 yr olds! Then we are having cupcakes (getting them from Superstore cheap) and a mini cake to cut, and then a big dance! For our AHR in Montreal, it really is just a backyard BBQ. If my family wasn;t so big, I would have done the same thing here... so much easier!
  15. Ok so I know I fail big time, but between forum issues and internet connectivity issues, I'm late. BUT! Here it is! Weekly Results...
